I've had enough of it, I can't stand this sh*t anymore, I know people mention the 80's but I wasn't born in the 80's, this is tough to take. I cannot see a way out of this, even luck is completely against us, today we hit the post and the ref has a complete shocker, sick of the officiating too, it's worse than it's ever been, what is he even thinking with that decision? What a fu**ing clown. We can't laugh at a possible curse, who knows, maybe we are cursed and relegation can't be ruled out either.

I'm tired of people bringing up the past to try and stop other fans from complaining. The fact is that in the 80's we never had any of the wealth we have now, our training facilities were average at best and our coaches, players and stability of the club was nowhere near as good as it is now. We have every right to be pissed at the current state we are in. What happened in the past is completely irrelevant.

Oh well. We can't cry about the result and we played well. I feel a bit numb inside because this is becoming the norm :laugh2::ohmy::sad:

I understand how the relegation teams feel now. I don't feel anything at all, just like meh let's look forward to the next game

I'm not arguing otherwise. Nor am I talking about the season , hence the reason I'm posting in the match day thread. In this match we created chances in open play and didn't take them. Simple as that

But the only clear cut chance all game was the Remy one.

Even Pedro's shot from range was opportunist rather than a well worked chance.

Other than that we were reduced to hopeful pot shots from range.

It's really not good enough.

This defeat is really hard to take. I thought we played well enough and dominated possession. Baba showing the flaws Jose obviously sees in him by getting sucked in and completely losing his man for the goal. We are far too static and slow when we are trying to open up their defence. No movement, no one making decent runs. It doesn't help when we have a midfielder that can't pass. Ramires was shocking tonight. Costa wasn't much better and he looked slow and cumbersome. RLC should be a starter now. On the plus side Hazard looked our most dangerous player and looked hungry. I can't understand why the ref didn't give the penalty for the Remy challenge and this just proves that staying on your feet and trying to be honest gets you nothing! The players will feel robbed tonight but they need to stay positive.

What's this "relegation battle" bollocks? If you seriously think Chelsea could be in any way involved in a relegation scrap come the final months of the season, you need your head checking. Mourinho will either pick things up and get the wins back on the board, or he'll be sacked before Christmas. There's no way a club like Chelsea could end up seriously fighting relegation. Not to mention that we are less than two wins from the top half as things stand.

It's just not possible. Even the seemingly doomed Dortmund finished 7th last season. You don't be one of the richest and best resourced clubs in the world and come close to going down. That said, we'll probably finish 10th-5th.

You serious? We had plenty of chances. Costa had a couple in the first and hazard and pedro had chances in the second half. We looked much better and if one went in I fancy the reat would of followed

Luck wasnt with us todey+weak defense+weak GK.Maybe im not right, but that i see.At least we have atemps.

Even luck is tired of us using it as an excuse...

I may be in the minority but I thought we were excellent today. I'm sitting here trying to understand how we lost and didn't score.

This was nothing like the shower of sh*t we have seen so far this season. Our luck just ain't in. One shot they had all f**king game and still beat us. We HAVE to be more clinical and put our chances away.

Hard to be encouraged in our position but I actually am after tonight.

We created nothing but half chances and pathetic attempts from range or shots into crowded areas. Our build up play has been absolutely atrocious for around 10-12 months now. It's actually painful at times  just watching us pass between defenders in our own half or pass between attackers around the box with no one making a run, no one running at their man, no one making a run on the outside, no one any where near the six yard box looking for a cut back. It's beyond pathetic now and it's why I struggle to have sympathy for Mourinho.

He's had the time, the funds, a fantastic group of talented players that were already at the club (majority of the most promising gone now), there is no reasonable explanation for how bad we've been but for me it starts with our play in possession of the ball and how poorly we attack.

We never looked like scoring, despite lots of possession in the other half, Stoke looked like scoring every attack. Single match changing ref decision doesn't go our way. Same old same old.

We're so cagey around the box, constant little passes until we either give the ball away or try  a shot outside the box with 6 men blocking the way.

No creativity, no finishing and we leave ourselves over-exposed as more and more players move up to support our doomed attacks.

You don't get 5 one on ones a game in this league. The pedro shot is a chance, as is the hazard cut back from the corner , as is the hazard strike from left side of the area , as is the Remy , as is the Dave cross for Diego.

People can say what they believe but I belive them to be chances.

FC you are right, it is not good enough, but it is an improvement on what it has been undeniably

What chances? Costa's tame shot from a tight angle? What Hazard chances?

We had just four shots on target all game and I'm fairly sure two of those were Matic pot shots from range.

I'm surprised at people praising another performance where we lost.

Keep playing like we did today and we're in serious trouble.

Interesting that the refs association have said their ref got the pen call wrong already. No help but interesting.

I was going to say that I thought it should of been called but figured maybe blue lenses tinted my view....but then the commentator said exactly that and i started to get confused..... now I dont even know if Im dreaming or awake?  Did I die?  Is this heaven!?!?!??!?!?

This is one of those occasions where they have to come down on the refs otherwise they're sending out the message that players have to dive.

The way things are going, we're now going to get a dodgy penalty with no contact given against us with this as justification.

Mourinho has no idea how to organize attacking movement. It's criminal how poor we are going forward given how much money we've spent and how much individual talent we've got in our team.

We won't be in a relegation scrap come May so people need to calm down.

The players aren't playing for the badge at the moment. Jose needs a striker to replace Costa and I would even start Remy for 2-3 games, depsite his headless chicken approach, at least he would unsettle defenders. Costa only ever wants to fight.
