I get the feeling this season is karma for the 2012 Champions League. We're due an entire year of bad luck from those Barca semis alone.

Why for defending brilliantly with 10 men? Scoring a brilliant individual goal followed by a cool finish under immense pressure to send us through? & didn't we have enough 'bad luck' in previous Barcelona games. Remember the 5 pens we didn't get at the Bridge in 2009??

Looking at the chances created argument I'd say we did have a few and wouldn't count Pedro's as a pot shot...I thought it was in as soon as he hit it whereas the pot shots like Matic etc were always looking like hitting a defender in the over crowded Stoke penalty box.

Lets even it up and look at Stokes chances and see if we think they deserved the win?

No I'd say if you took that passage of play where they scored out of the game and played it to a hundred people 90% if guessing the outcome would have it as a Chelsea win.

Can't be happy but over the top bashing of the manager and players is pointless and there are positives to be found even if they are the board recognising we need a couple of signings.

Clear pen for me.

The keeper is late, Remy hurdles him, which forces him to stumble.

Shocking decision from the ref, who otherwise had a good game I thought.

Thought we'd already paid that fee in advance with Overbo and ghost goals.....

If anything, we balanced out the Karma in 2012. After all the sh*t we had taken in Champions League in all those years before we won it, i think we were due all the luck in the world.

Really?  You think he had a good game with Adams still on the pitch?  ::MooNeY::

I knew we would not create lots of scoring opportunities at Stoke, it's a tough team to break down and they defend well.

We did play pretty well, thought Hazard had a good game and you could see every player was trying their best.

Around the 75th minute you could see the players losing faith, Willian and Hazard chased the ball less and they were tired.

Psychologically we have a problem, we don't seem to have the reaction we used to in the past and as soon as we slow our build up play we are just too easy to read.  Willian was practically just walking the ball in some stages and it allowed the Stoke defence to pick their man and close the space.

I still believe we can get top 4.

I thought some of their challenges deserved yellows at least, if Costa had committed half of their fouls today they would have given him a 5 match ban

Wasn't Fernandinho booked for a forearm to the head of Costa leading to debate whether or not it was a red?

What? Are you a professional optimist or what?

No, we'll continue to struggle for points even if we play well. We have reached the point where most teams will have a go at us and they'll do that with confidence.

This season is gonna hurt.

Do you think Leicester and West Ham will be in the top 6 by end of the season? probably not, this run of bad results will stop and we will hopefully put a run of good results together.

I believe we can make it in the top 4, if we end up in the Europa League then no problem, what I do know is if we stick with Mou next season we will be fighting for the title.

If we get rid of him now then come May we will be looking for another manager and we will be back to square one.

Have a little patience.

We completely dominated and should have scored at least two, the attacking players besides Willian are all in probably the worst form of their careers. The short passes in front of 9 defenders are pointless every time when no one makes a proper run behind them.

Arnautovic is a coward useless piece of sh*t fits perfectly in this nothing club. Referee did a fantastic job as usual, disgraceful, inept moron just like he should be in Chelsea matches. If you needed any more evidence to what a bunch of 'f**king weak' walking corruption they are.

We're playing better, one day very soon we're going to kill a game in the first half and get some confidence from there.

Whether we like it or not, Costa has become the new Suarez and I don't mean that in relation to his behaviour, I mean in relation to there being a strong body of journalists, opponents and now stewards who think that if they paint him in a bad enough light then he will eventually be driven out of English football.

We all know he's not playing great, but can we expect him to with the persistent crap he has to endure?
