It's impressive how often this season Chelsea have managed to ruin my day/weekend.

Yup. Gone past being funny now, actually hurts how poor we are. Cause with the ability we have the only reason we are as cr*p as we are is lack of effort.

curious how Adam escapes the ref's book againtsk.gif. I am still scratching my head on that one play right in front of the area where DC was fouled by both Shawcross & Adam, but the ref 'waved play on'.

Sorry England, but your refs freakin' sux donkey balls!!!

Look on the bright side. We lost by one.

We're also breaking some new records.

What else can I say being so utterly depressed. From hitting the highs to delving in the abyss...

To say we weren't creating in open play is laughable. We hit the post and Remy should of had a penalty, in open play. Also a couple of other half chances.

Someone mentioned something earlier which I was going to post. Although Begovic has done well and is an adequate back up , he is nowhere near the level of TIbo. Should've done better with the goal and the last two games has made costly mistakes.

Generally played quite well but it counts for nothing unless we win

The offense in this game is encouraging, at least much better compared to most of the previous games..

as for begovic, you do understand he's just a back up right? you said it yourself he's an adequate back up so why are you expecting more of him? not very realistic to have 2 world class keepers in the team nowadays.. as for the goal, even cech wouldn't save that, look at lewandosky goal in midweek...

I don't expect more of him, I'm merely making the point that if Tibo is in goal that goal doesn't go in and neither do a few others that have with Begovic in the sticks, but thank you for telling me what I do and don't expect.

Yet another loss! :face_palm:

Really starting to hurt this and not a feeling any of us have had to endure  ... for a LONG time! But dare i say it, its starting to become a concerning trend.

I actually thought we didn't too badly; there was movement and we controlled the game throughout (60 odd % possession!)

Not going to single out anybody or say he didn't play well enough, or he didn't run quick enough, bla bla bla - My ONLY real concern is WHY DON'T WE HAVE ANYBODY IN THE BOX when we attack!?!?! Seriously though we always seem to have 3-5 players on the outskirts drifting right, drifting left, passing back, but there is NEVER a single target in the box!? How are we meant to score... Long shots? Free kicks from fouls (.... oh hang on, I might be onto something here!?)

Tibo wil be back soon, which WILL make a deference.

Defense will get better and we have various permutations of players for those roles

We have enough quality from our midfielders to have a decent set of 4 in whatever formation or role.

Just feel we need more strikers up there, less tika taka players and more predator strikers...

4-2-3-1 AINT WORKING, less go back to basics now and either go with a straight 4-3-3 or even 4-4-2 , hell i would take 5-3-2 right now!!

Ok rant over.

BH Over an out.

Absolutely gutted with the result, especially after a decent performance in the first half.

Can't keep using that "we're just unlucky" or referee excuses though, we lost our will to fight and collapsed in the second half.

Not good enough, simply not good enough.

I think they didnt loose will to fight, they dont know how to fight.Eden,Diego and Oscar try pass all Stoke alone, was some good ideas, but not enough.

We have good players, they just need make 2-3 wins and all will be ok.

Fabregas was nowhere near as bad as some are making out. He was an upgrade on Ramires whose passing ability is abysmal.

Not looking for a scapegoat but if Ramires was the answer. wtf was the question?

Quite frankly we are not good enough, in any area of the pitch.

GK: Begovic, not good enough after years of real top quality in Cech and Courtois

Defence: Ageing, out of form, no fight, JT legs gone, Ivanovic enough said, Cahill never been convinced, Zouma, is he really the answer?? Baba, not given the chance

Midfield: Worse than poor, Matic non existent, Fabregas anonymous, Ramires same old issues with possession and passing, Hazard probably listened too much to the hype. Willian totally exonerated he has been brilliant !!!

Strikers: Do we really have any?  Costa needs to stop being a street fighter and return to playing football, Falcao, we should have listened to Man Ure, a deal that should NEVER have been done and Remy again not being given a chance but rarely lets us down.

Therefore we clearly need to bring in fresh blood. I am not a fan of the January window and PRAY that we survive in the Prem to bring in JOSE's required choices (unlike this year) in the summer

Annoying game last night as I actually didn't think we were that awful. Sounds stupid but with those stats last year we would win comfortably, we're just so out of form. Yes there were a few dodgy ref decisions which don't help with the loss but again we can look at our inability to do some simple defending and our inability to either create that perfect chance or actually take it.

loads of possession but same old same old, they could not break down that red and white wall. teams like city and arsenal seem so much better at breaking these teams down so why do we struggle so much? we just do not seem direct enough, we get to their area then seem to run out of ideas.

We only lost by a freak goal really and it could just of easily been 1 nil to chelsea except the team have no luck what so ever at the moment and apparently you make your own luck. Bring on norwich, the tide has to turn soon.

We would have done better keeping hold of Drogba and letting Costa rot. The 38 year old is more agile than the Brasilian Spanish wannabee. 2 season wonder...

I hope they are planning on buying a striker in Jan I just can't see who would come to us right now

Begovic really should have saved the goal, like many other this season

Curtois would have saved that. Cant wait for him to get back in the team, hopefully he'll keep the rash challenges to a minnimum when he gets back

I'm starting to come around to Costa being more of the problem than I was previously willing to accept.

we're preparing ourselves to forgive you.

We need pace somewhere in the front 3. Aubameyang would suit us nicely. Play him on the wing or central instead of Costa. Id take Vardy at this point, seems like a Mourinho type of player

Posted

Again i will say Costa would not get into most prem sides  He does not scare a defence

very little pace moves left checks back right it not hard to defend against

and i have forgot the last time he  shot at goal

loves to fight the defender instead of thinking of scoring

so he holds up play what is the point if nobody runs past him

we play across the box not one player picks up the ball when he is running towards goal

if you dont shoot you dont score

we cant rely on free kicks and corners

Fact most goal are scored with no more than  three or four passes
