Wait wait, some of you are suggesting that, at least until the transfer window, we stick with hazard as a striker?

I am all for dropping Costa but going in to games against the likes of watford and Bournemouth we need a goal scorer in there. Remy should be back by next week, hopefully.

Last season it would have been drogba up front. Not sure who is at fault for us coming in to the season with only 2 viable striker options but whoever it is the blame is on them.

Not that anyone expected Costa to be this sh*t this season but 2 actual strikers is not good enough if you do not trust a player like traore to be third choice.

We had 3. Falcao was obviously the wrong call but he was the 3rd choice that the club had planned and he is injured. Traore was never in any plans. If at all, he was 4th choice and we can't suddenly expect him to lead the line at spurs.

a point I'm happy with given our season. At least we have another clean sheet now that's 3 in a row. Build from the back they say. So hopefully we are moving in the right direction. Let's hope we can at least pick up 10 points in our next four games. And slowly climb back up

People calling this a good result, rofl.

We had to win this to have any chance of getting top four and we played for a point.

Why? Because you have seen the future and we will be a point off Spurs at the end of the season in 5th? Why was this a must win game in November that will decide our fate in April? We need points i agree and fast but that statement is just silly.

Very bad call, it would be better to still have torres. Cr*p when he plays and gets injured a lot, we screwed up bad with falcao.

No we didn't.

can't lie, that was a disappointing result against a spurs side that travelled to some random corner of the world on thurs night and were visibly tired. our chance creation is so poor at the moment, it's looking like we're never going to create much at all against half decent sides in the prem. the way i see this is we've dropped 2 more points at a ground we could have picked up 3 points from if we did more offensively.

I guess we are showing progress, at least defensively.

3 clean sheets in a row will help bring back confidence to our defenders, but our attack remains as cr*p as ever.

1 goal against a poor Norwich side, many missed chance. Sure 4 away to the 10 men cl whipping boys, who, until willian's free kick, were still very much in it.

Now today 0 goals against the first good side we played in 3.

Like I said good the see us defending more like Chelsea again. If we want to move up the table we need to improve as an attacking unit as well.

I guess should be happy with a point.

I'm surprised with some of the negative responses here. IMO, it's actually a good performance by our lads, especially against the most in-form PL team right now.

Our defence was absolutely solid today, stopping most of their threats comfortably. Our passes and movements were also much faster and direct, something we've not seen in most of our games this season. A definite improvement.

Anyway, here are some highlights in the second half.

Good effort by hazard but I was expecting much more given how the save was described on here.

From that video looks pretty much in the middle of the goal. Personally I would be mad if an effort like that beat begovic.

I'm fine with a point. There were bits and pieces to like.Importantly, we're defending better, and our attacking moves are at least looking more likely.

Grow up Costa.

Absolutely unnecessary.

I quite enjoy the fact that, apart from a giggle from Mikel, nobody in the line of fire is remotely interested in that bib flying around.

Still, some words will be said about it at Cobham.

That was a definite D'oh! game, didn't feel threatened by Titenham, our team looked a lot more controlled and confident, the defence was organised that includes big bum Ivana and we seemed to have pace up front. Lack of a goal is gutting however, the chances were there with shiny bells and arrows around the oppositions goal but nothing to show for it. Happy not to lose, happy with a team attitude, happy we didn't concede. Onward and upward.

We didn't conceive, that is the typo of the season!

Glad with the point. Costa needs to hear about his childish behavior. Sometimes I forget these are young men but still I can't believe they act this way...
