What's everyone's go to Christmas movie(s)?

Every Christmas Eve since I was a kid I've always watched National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation.

I'll tell you one I watch every year that gets better every time I watch it Surviving Christmas, it's such an underrated gem. Really funny and very Christmassy. Ben Affleck is brilliant in it, plays such a dorky idiot.

Love Actually. I know it's cheesy, unrealistic and so on.  But I love it.  "Don't buy drugs. Become a pop star, and they give you them for free!"

Big fan of Love Actually as well. It has so many different types of humour.

I love the PM's speech re the American president.  I remember seeing it in the cinema and having to stop myself from standing up and cheering!

It's on ITV2 on Wednesday at 9, BQ.

These are the films I watch every Christmas without fail.

For me it's:

 

1) Elf

2) Home Alone 1 & 2

3) Love Actually

4) The Santa Clause

 

And then not necessarily Christmas films, but films I always find myself watching over Christmas:

Shrek

Grease

Muppet's Christmas Carol

Genuinely one of my favourites.

Love Actually is great

Of course love the classics like Muppet's Christmas Carol, Scrooged, Elf, Home Alone, Home Alone 2, A Christmas Story and films like Deck The Halls, Christmas with the Kranks etc.

I never could get into Bad Santa though.

National Lampoons Christmas Vacation is always broadcasted on free to air television on Christmas Day annually in Australia so it's a tradition to watch it every year.

 

I never get sick of that movie! The jokes and humour are still funny after all these years.

Like Zola said though it has snow and is excellent so I think we could count it. Tbh setting it at Christmas would probably make it even more awesome.

As a family we watch Elf every year. Never get tired of it. It is THE Christmas movie. Classic!

My missus loves Elf but I can't stick it for some reason. It's not Will Ferell because I love him in movies like Anchorman, Old School and Blades of Glory. Not sure what it is but I refuse to watch it now.
