That is an improvement to losing at home to Bournemnouth, the dippers, palace and Southampton. 2 points for 6 is better than 0 from 12.

 

Even at 2-2 with not long left, I had a feeling there would be more goals. Was gutted when we went behind but you can always rely on Everton to f**k up - they did exactly the same against Bournemouth.

 

I think we will gradually climb the table as Hiddink has now surely identified certain players are not worth starting and the likes of Kenedy deserve a chance. With teams as bad as Villa, Sunderland, Norwich and Swansea below us, I think we are safe this season!

To be fair JT's goal looked offside but the Everton fans complaining about the extra time can f**k right off, while Oviedo may been genuinely injured the time taken after we equalized felt like a predetermined tactic by Martinez (or perhaps Oviedo himself) to disrupt our momentum. Given Mori came on as a sub for Oviedo it would have been a bitter pill to swallow had he scored the winner so I'm over the moon that we scored an offside goal to f**k them over. Karma.

To be honest Droog, I didn't find it too bad. I think I'm more or less expecting the worst. When they scored their third I was pissed off but just thought sh*t I knew it. The bloody Everton fans were going mental so it was sweet to shut them up!

Don't be fooled by the last half hour, for the first 60 mins we were crap again, and it took 2 everton goals to get us going, that is not right.

I would like us to not set up defensively from the start anymore this season, it's not worked once so far. It's time to attack games right from the off, no more waiting for things to happen. If we played the whole game like we did for the last 25 minutes of the game, we probably would have won the game comfortably. This team can't play a defensive game anymore, it's been clear to see for some time now.

Our attacking is improving but we badly need a new defensive coach, and probably a couple of signings there.

Disappointing to take 2 points from 2 winnable home games. Hopefully this stops the top 4 talk. We are simply not good enough for anything more than fighting to stay up.

This pretty much sums up most of EPL this season, Teams that defend are getting punished. We sat back and defended and paid the price with 2 goals, Then Everton wanted to protect the lead and defend and we came right back in. Then we defended and they scored, Then they defended and we scored. I am not anti defense, But I feel like Defending deep is not going to win us games like it did during the Fortress days.

It wasn't over time, your lot celebrated for over a minute when you scored to make it 2-3. Yeah it was an offside goal, but we were robbed ourselves against West Brom a fair few times. We were on the counter attack in added on time and ref blew for half time before added time was even up, Yacob should have been sent off twice, Costa should have had a penalty and West Brom were getting away with fouling our players all over the pitch. This kind of sh*t has been happening a lot to us in the last year. None of this is getting any notice though, but when Chelsea get a lucky decision, people can't shut up about it, funny that.

 

Also, you can't moan, Man City had a clear pen denied against you only a few days.
