What a comeback !!

 

We looked dead and buried after that second goal but this team finally showed some spirit. A much improved second half, especially getting in those crosses from the flanks. 

 

As for the 1 minute extra at the end, Everton scored the goal at 90:01 and play resumed at about 91:00 so the ref was correct with that extra 1 minute. 

 

Hope that the team builds on this comeback. Real happy with that comeback today !!

I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a half of football as much as that second half. There's clearly still a problem in defence but we played with more spirit and energy than I've seen for long time. Not that you'd know it from reading this thread though, obviously.

f**k knows how we got a result, sh*te for 70 minutes of that game. I expect to see much gnashing of teeth and crying about refs mistakes this week from the usual c**ts, yet notva word after we got shafted midweek.

Probably not as glad as i should be right now with that equaliser.

To be fair Gale slaughtered stones for not doing his defending bit properly, today for once he just came across as a neutral enjoying the game!!!!!!

Everton deserve it because of their 'play out from the back' philosophy.

 

They don't clear the danger when the opportunity presents itself. Instead they try to pass or dribble out of their half and a lot of the time they concede possession. 

 

Same thing happened against Bournemouth.
