The level of performance in this game...I'm going to be glass half empty here and say Europa league could even be gone, the players don't want it enough, plain and simple.

Fantastic record in Holland, impressive for the under-21s and came on at the weekend and scored.

The reason you might not have seen anything of him is that he's not been given a chance in the first-team despite us being in dire need up top.

Wasn't that impressive a record in Holland, it was respectable.

Costa is on a good run of form, Willian is our player of the season, Fabregas is out best midfield player and Oscar is the best player at linking the pivot to attack.

Just don't see any justification for throwing Traore in personally, he's rightly down the pecking order for me.

If this is all matic has to offer he shouldn't be anywhere near the first team anymore. I don't think RLC is the answer for our midfield problems yet, but I don't believe for one minute he'd do worse than what we've currently got.

We've not played two up top all season bar chasing games.

I can't see who you drop to accommodate a second striker and I think it would throw out the balance of our midfield.

If we are going to give Pato a chance it could come in the form of a second striker, in one of two ways that I could see:

Funny old game footie. Arsey had plenty of chances and yet we won, tonight we had chances and drew, next!

We still need a few more wins to ensure that we stay up, but we are making slow and steady progress on that front. Unfortunately we aren't picking up enough wins to close the gap on the top 4 though. Hopefully Guus will be good to his word and start playing the youth in the league if we are safe by March.

Because you might get a win and give the fans something to shout about? You might discover that this prodigiously talented youngster who had an impressive record in Holland at such a young age could contribute to turning a sh*t season into a slightly less sh*t season.

 

Because it might get you that goal that brings a bit of pride back to the club?

 

Honestly, if you get a chance to go along to an under-21 game and see the lad play then maybe you'll be more positive about the benefits of giving him a chance.

I feel like we play too narrow often as it is.

I think if we played a 2nd striker we'd be even worse.

Our wingers generally don't offer much width and look to play one-twos rather than get to the byline and deliver crosses in.

We've not really got the players suited to playing two up top in my eyes.

Very sad to turn it over to BT sport and the first thing I see is Howard Webb analysing Costa, even sadder when he desribes Paredes as being "pushed". It's statements like that which drive referees to give fouls like the one on Oscar when he places both hands on the very large Nyom and causes him to fall which of course was completely deserved and would send any 6foot man flying

I gave up on top 4 long ago. The pressure is off in the league now so we shouldn't feel that we need to be so cautious. Just go for the win, we would get more wins than losses that way. Look at the game against Arsenal, we went for the win and we got it.

in all fairness as they tired and Hazard was introduced Chels had the upper hand, couple of top class saves by their goalie and 

the teams been held again to a draw, probably a fair result but FFS cant climb above 13th for love nor money

I know for a fact this club has effected my blood pressure this season, I think I'm sticking with highlights of wins, or my blood pressure will be through the roof, I'll still watch the cup games though.

Watford went through our two man anchoring midfield like a hot knife through butter at times in the first half, I hate to think what teams would do to us we've a midfield as lightweight as that.
