Nainggolan is good but also 28 this summer. But short-term he could be excactly what we need. Some proper midfield steel with aggression, passing ability and drive.

Nainngolan is the man and rumors say if conte signs he wants him as his 1st signing, if true the man knows what he's on about.

 

Said a few pages back that I'd like him here and he's got something that we've lacked in midfield for a while - drive, determination, grit and dynamism.

 

I think if we are going to look to Conte and maybe build around Fabregas as a Pirlo-esque orchestrator then you need hard-workers around him and this guy fits the bill.

Bazoer rumours are getting more and more serious. Apparently his brother, who is also his agent, was at Cobham yesterday. On Hiddink's advice we're probably gonna sign him for about €30M.

Anyone else think Tolisso would be a good shout, seems like a high energy all round midfielder, is only 21 and chips in with a few goals.

Obviously I would prefer us to give RLC and Baker a shot but if we get Europa league football having a few youngsters in the squad would be beneficial.

We dont need a pirlo like player. Fabregas is this player, we need a vidal like player, our midfield needs more balance, we have 3 attacking mids that are quite lightweight, a passing magician who is also quite light weight and a defensive mid. Add a beast of a box to box player and we have far more balance.

A midfield and attack like this would help us control games a lot more.

Said it before but Kante will be overpriced and probably out of reach. He's the profile of player we should buy before they have a breakout season because there's no value in that type of transfer. You're buying him at the height of his value when there's no guarantee he isn't a one-season wonder.

I think we are currently in a period where we will have to over-pay for quality players until, at the very least, there is CL football to offer. But you never know, I still cant get how LFC got Suarez

Buying young players like this would make our academy even more pointless than it currently is. We need to start promoting our own youth instead of poaching other youngsters.

Suarez were among the other options we were interessted in at the time. This summer we had a chance to buy a cheap Alderweireld, who had a good last season for Southampton and can play both central defender and right back.

Like to know the name of the person who thought out of form Torres for 50m was better than Suarez @ 22m... even I knew Suarez was a beast and had WC potential when at AJAX and Im certainly not "in the know" when it comes to these things.

They would've bought suarez regardless of us buying torres.
