Could Courtois leave Chelsea this summer?

Featured Replies

Do you think he would leave the club If we won't go to Champion's League next season?  :wtf:

Scenes If he leave and we sold Cech to let Courtois as number one for years...

I would be very mad and sad If It happens

I personally think he's been relatively average this year and whilst he's good for his age, he's nowhere near De Gea and has tons of work to do to be considered a top keeper.

I agree. He's been at fault for a few results but its gone under the radar because of how awful others have been.

I dont see him leaving because any club he'd go to already have a top keeper or a young guy taking over like at PSG.

Cobblers. He's kept us in many games. He's still young for a keeper and learning. If he's not been at his best then it's a symptom of the whole team's lack of form this year.

He will stay and next year this will all be forgotten. Even Cech had seasons where he wasn't at his best. Courtois is class, one of the best in the league and the idea that he's not a great keeper based on a season where the whole team (excepting Willian and maybe Zouma) have been under par is ridiculous.

A few mistakes, certainly.  However, we've been spoiled by Cech.  I think Tibo will continue to develop and we should hold on to him.  If he wants to leave, then that's a different matter.

Anyone who digs him out for the odd mistake here and there, just look at De Gea. He was atrocious when he first came to england, but 2/3 years later he had adapted and is now the best keeper in the league, and top 2 in the world. Tibo has plenty of time on his side and even if he was phenomenal this season it wouldnt have meant anything, we'd still be well off the top 4. Give him this one as another learning season. The boy will come good

Tibs is a club legend in the making despite his up & down season ( which a lot of players can be accused of this yr!)i do believe he will be here for many yrs to come...KTBFFH!!!

The guy is a jet!  A proper keeper and easily in the top  5 in the world, has won a English + Spanish title.  How people could question is playing credentials I don't know.

His loyalty credentials I'm not sure about, I remember at Atletico he used to say (paraphrasing) "I have no affiliation with Chelsea, no love for them as I have never played for them".  Hopefully he is fully invested in the club now as they are him

Fully agreed. He's the one who kept our scorelines down to a respectable amount for most of the season.
