Can't believe they've given Lallana a new contract worth 135k a week. Insane.

I read that it was £150k. Either way, that is a hell of a lot of money for a player that hasn't actually won anything at the top level. He's a decent footballer that has his moments, but those kind of wages go to the best players.

Wow Bellerin starting , i was sure he had a concussion

Yes very surprising after that vicious assault by Alonzo last week.

Arsenal getting lucky again, that goal should never have stood. If the ball doesn't touch Sanchez hand, it get's cleared. I wonder where Arsenal would be this season without all of these dodgy goals.

Why should it never have stood? It obviously wasn't deliberate hand-ball, therefore there's no foul and the goal should stand.

That deliberate rule is bullsh*t. 99% of handballs aren't deliberate but they are still given. Sanchez's hand was in an unnatural position, it was at head height. Without the hand, he doesn't score.

Luck/bullsh*t, it's still the law. I know it was desperately lucky for Arsenal but it was still a legitimate goal. Having a raised hand isn't an unnatural position at all, it's unnatural to keep them by your sides when you need to maintain balance. Especially seeing as there was no way of knowing the ball would come up to hit it as well.

That's two handball goals scored by Arsenal this season...presumably Wenger regards them as 'absolutely disgraceful' too given what he said about Alonso's last week

You're right, it is the law, but it's hard to accept when the refs pick and choose when to follow that rule. If that was the Hull defender, you can pretty much guarantee that the penalty would be given.

Sorry mate but if that is given against us the air would turn bluer than our kit. Hand is above his head and therefore extending his body wether deliberate or not.

Then it's not a yellow but it's still a foul and no goal...

Clattenburg is terrible. That should be a red card for Gibbs. He has denied a goal scoring opportunity there.

It just seem's like that in every game, he tends to make a big error. Isn't he supposed to be the best ref in the game ?

Arsenal getting the rub of the green here. On the goal if Clattenburg had disallowed it I don't think anyone could complain. Same with the Gibbs challenge, I sending off could be seen as justifiable.

Arsenal back to normal. Struggling against a injury hit Hull team.

If the handball is Hull it's dissallowed if it's Arsenal it's given.

Last man tackle against Hull it's a yellow. Against Arsenal it's a red.
