Following Our Nearest & Dearest Rivals, 2016/2017

As we have a game at Sunderland coming up, I'll try to find out if Bradley will be attending. Perhaps the fans could make a banner - I would be happy to contribute.

If he'll be at the game, it would be nice if our players give him a signed ball or something. He can't have too many presents this Christmas! Anyone know whom at the club to contact about this?

The Football Association have suspended Leeds United owner Massimo Cellino from all football activities for 18 months and fined the Italian £250,000.

He was charged with breaching the FA's football agent rules over the sale of Ross McCormack to Fulham in 2014.

In addition, the club have also been fined £250,000.

Cellino, whose ban will start on 1 February 2017, has already indicated to the FA that he intends to appeal against the ruling.

The FA said in a statement: "Mr Cellino has been suspended for 18 months from being a director or shadow director of Leeds United or any other football club or company whose activities include ownership of a football club.

"By 30 April 2017, he is to attend and complete an FA education programme covering the duties and responsibilities of an owner and director of an English football club."

The Daily Mail reported on Wednesday that Cellino was set to be banned and fined, prompting him to release a statement on the club's website that he was "surprised to hear about the FA's intentions" and that he was only guilty of "protecting Leeds United".

This is the third time the 60-year-old former Cagliari owner has been given a ban by the FA since taking over the Elland Road club in April 2014.

If the decision is upheld, his suspension means he will not be able to return to his position at Leeds until 1 September 2018.

Meanwhile, agent Derek Day has been fined £75,000 for his role in the transfer of McCormack and banned for 18 months.

Day will serve an immediate seven-month ban, with the remaining 11 months suspended for two years.

Typical Man United supporter, scrapped into the 32 and Scholes reckoned no teams could worry United. If football is played on paper, United would be leading the league by 5 points now, I think they are in for a shock in the knock out rounds. Of course, if they do lose, it's because Jose prioritise league over Europa/

So funny watching biased club channel commentary, caught the replay of the City game on City TV and the commentator blurts out 'there has to be a card there, the referee hasn't given a card to Cahill.' Cue the replay of De Bruyne bringing down Gaz, the commentator said precisely nothing.

It's interesting because although I think the commentators at Chelsea TV are biased they still call decisions that should go against us. I remember during a game once they said Gary Cahill was lucky to avoid a red.

Such a boring day of fixtures, nothing really takes my fancy. Think I'll stick to La Liga.

What about Leicester sans midfield vs Midfield FC?

Good thing the fourth official isnt a water bottle else Wenger might have got in trouble there

And that is what is wrong with the new rules. The Hull player clearly dived for the penalty, Scott Dann then goes to the ref, rightly pissed off, and he's the one that get's punished. Where is the justice in that ?
