July 6, 201610 yr I read Palace is bidding 27M+ for Bentake, that's the kind of crazy price going around these days. It's not just the so called Rich clubs are doing that, it's Palace for god sake. Next thing we know Leeds United will be bidding 20M for Ballotali.

July 7, 201610 yr Based on what? Comments made before he moved suggesting Spurs would be unsuitable from a financial perspective Despite apparent registered interest, he moves to the club without CL football or the new stadium coming, why? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Would you rather he had come out with the generic BS new transfers come out with ...like "i always wanted to play for chelsea"
July 7, 201610 yr Response to Karateowl..Because despite this seasons 'blip' we are a consistently better team than spuds. With Manure, Citeh, and us all strengthening this closed season they will return to there residual 5th - 7th place next season.I've never known a team to win f**k all and give it the biggun so much !! Would you rather he had come out with the generic BS new transfers come out with ...like "i always wanted to play for chelsea" He's going to be a wealthy man whichever choice was made. He's young too, and now at a terrific club which will very likely regain its CL status whilst he's there. It reminds me a little of when Lucas Neill went to West Ham over Liverpool for an extra 15k a week - the sacrifice of career ambition for money. Not, I think, a useful trait. Can't argue with that [emoji23] But full of young talent, a new stadium on the way too, their decisions have taken them on the up and up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
July 7, 201610 yr He gets more money coming to us. He gets to feed off Hazards assists all season. He did a google street view of West London and North London. He can't say Tittenham properly. All valid reasons.
July 7, 201610 yr Comments made before he moved suggesting Spurs would be unsuitable from a financial perspective Despite apparent registered interest, he moves to the club without CL football or the new stadium coming, why? I don't think footballers care where they play as long as they aren't in a dilapidated cesspool. Michy was clearly thinking long term with this move. Who has the better odds to be playing CL football next season and the year after? Chelsea or Spurs? I'd venture Spurs won't break the top four for the foreseeable future with Liverpool having a full year of Klopp, Manure surely being better, City and Arsenal being City and Arsenal, and Leicester + West Ham putting out strong sides. Conte led Chelsea on the other hand? I'd put my money on that making the top four year in, year out.
July 7, 201610 yr it is starting to stench a little You definitely don't, different opinions are what makes forums great, and the comfort to debate them, the mark of a great forum, if you will. Imagine the alternative: Bat was right to choose money. I agree. I agree. I agree. I agree. You can see where I'm going with this. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
July 7, 201610 yr Let's not kid ourselves. They all come for the money. That's hardly news. We have nothing else to offer? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
July 7, 201610 yr There's a reason Madrid and Barca have some of the highest paid players in the world...
July 7, 201610 yr ^ Not relevant. In the end money talks usually. I don't know where the evidence is for that; when do we have intimate financial knowledge of competing offers? I'd like to think happiness was at least as important as money, once they're earning the sort of money that'll mean they're made for life (if not before). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
July 7, 201610 yr You need evidence that footballers most of the time go for the best offer when switching employers?
July 7, 201610 yr It's also startling to see a few on here write the lad off before he's even arrived.
