Good start to our summer recruitment, especially following the departures of Falcao and Pato.

I'm hoping to see a central defender and midfielder come in too at the minimum but I think we need a new full back too.

 

More the better on last seasons performances, want Conte to have plenty more options than Jose/Guus had.

So excited about this signing, Batsyhayi has all the attributes to become a world class striker, he could easily turn out to be one of the best signing of the Abramovich era. 

 

Now we need to bring in Koulibaly, Asamoah/Rodriguez, Kante/Diarra.

 

And I am definitely getting that training top, as i have a history with Carabao's  :biggrin:

I'm not going to lie, i don't know much about him, his goal scoring record is pretty good though so let's hope he brings that over here with us. The best thing about him is that he apparently rejected the Spuds for us.

Will wear the number 23 shirt for us... Obviously knows about the curse of wearing our number 9.

I know this is the Michy thread but I couldn't find the number thread. A friend of mine said he heard that RLC might be taking the 7 shirt? Any news on this?

This guy seems to have come from nowhere. I saw him come on for Lukaku for Belgium, score a goal and next thing every prem club was sniffing around him. Hopefully we were interested long before the Euros and aren't falling for the hype of a good kid playing well in one tournament. Im sure we're more thorough than that but I hadnt heard anything about him before, no rumours, no nothing.

He looks to have a good record in France, but then that's no basis for judging a players ability when it comes to the prem. Hopefully he's another Drogba... We'll have to wait and see

    He was being looked at by several clubs before that goal. At least by the likes of West Ham etc... Him and Lacazette were seen as the guys to get from France -- and most say Lacazette is marginally better right now, but Michy is significantly younger.

    No professional team in football would buy a player based on a ten minute cameo were he scored a goal. Off course we had been scouting him for a while. Chelsea are susually very tight lipped with transfers so its no surprise we didnt hear anything
