Just to add, why does nearly every spell of possession result in ivanovic either crossing, or hitting 40 yeard cross field ball to one of the smallest players on the pitch.

Because he is ivanovic and there is no known cure.

We don't have any wingers on the bench. Really haven't found Pedro all that convincing today not really fast enough to beat his man on the outside and Ivanovic a bit nervous.

We are trying harder than last season and moving the ball earlier but lacking the intricate moves arounfpd the box that characterize our best play.

Costa needs another body up there with him. They are far too comfortable.

Iva is looking the liability he has all of last season.

Magic and Kante done alright, more so the latter.

Oscar just adding zero to attack again. Where are his 'knitting' skills everyone so likes to mention.

Costa was prolific at Atleti with a mate up top.  I think it's how he plays best.  Maybe batman for oscar and fabregas for Matic?  Watford aren't attacking through the middle at all so we don't need to ask too much from Fab.  

Very ordinary first half, but I'd like to think that Conte has a few things up his sleeve and thankfully we haven't conceded either so it isn't all negative in my opinion.

 

Although, the concern for mine is the lack of changes in the squad with Kante being our only real addition of the summer. It just feels stale, but that's something largely beyond Conte's control unless he believes he can rejuvenate the current squad.

 

Still another half remaining, so I don't want to make premature statements until the match is complete.

Tired of Pedro cutting on his left every time. Holebas is a poor left back, but he's being given an easy time out there. Who do we have on the bench, Cuadrado? Moses?

not surprising struggling for real chances again, pretty much the same with last week showing.. only this time without the penalty that can mask the performance.. Well, having said that, kante is the real deal for us.. poor hazard, conte doesn't make it any easier for him..

 

I think both cesc and bats can help change the game for us, hopefully it's not too late for their introduction..

I just think the great passers they've had covered up for how poor he truly is, that's all I can think of because he just looks awful out there. I was excited when we signed him but he's only been disappointing thus far.

It is brutal to watch us struggle so much...

Glad people have woken up to the fact we have zero creativity in our 1st 11 bar Hazard. We look solid in the middle but we are not going to create any scoring chances. Either put Fabregas back in the 1st 11, or buy a Winger who can score/create.
