I hate Pool but have had no problems with Klopp so far. He stays in his own world, respects his opponents and generally reflects on the game reasonably. He isn't the best coach but is much better than average.

He's a punk

Woke up this morning with the belief thls will end in a draw.

Not the best of results but better than last season if it goes that way.

Ha! Love that - funny because I don't hate them nearly as much as I did about a decade ago, when I personally hated them more than Arsenal and Spurs. Good to see the obsession is still going strong on Merseyside.

Strangely I don't have the same level of extreme contempt I used to have against them either, perhaps because their previous glory has trickled into the merseyside gutters where it belongs. However they have a good history against us by the bloody stats at the Bridge but I'm hopefully confident in 3 points for us, whatever it may be. Oh and Lawro, get fu**ed!

I think it might be an idea to play 2 strikers in the match, they clearly will shut costa down as best they can so maybe a second striker would be the trick.

Must admit if Liverpool play like they did against us in preseason or at the Bridge last season I can see them taking all 3 points. Can't see us winning and will take a draw, a win and i'll start to believe we can make top 4.

Unacceptable  if we dont win I'll donate 50 quid to the forum, how's that, we are taking 3 points today! Am I the only one with confidence in Conte's Chelsea ? What's with all the lucky to draw talk on the forum...Also interested to hear why you are not already believing in a top 4, who is better than us bar city?

Well we've not really been tested thus far. Sadly I'm a pessimist as well, I wouldn't take a draw beforehand because Liverpool are a bit hit and miss. But a win would surprise me a little.
Last season is still too fresh for me, and with our defense top 4 will be a difficult task I think.

Hope it's not Ivanovic. He will get raped by Mane and co.

Please do not use that word in such a fashion

The beers are going down nicely I've got a good feeling about tonight and the only thing that can ruin it is us coming out playing negatively and showing them to much respect....so come on Chelsea and wipe the floor with these bin dipping delusional scouse c**ts!!!.....KTBFFH!!!::ChELSeAFaN::

We have a CL winning CB pairing tonight, Dave is the best defending FB in the league and Ivan isn't looking nearly as shaky this term, I think we will manage the dippers, a team that hasn't done anything noteworthy in a decade

It isn't that I think we've regressed or lack the quality to make top 4, just so far haven't seen enough of us this season yet to suggest we're any better than the likes of United, Everton, Spurs, Arsenal, and Liverpool (in terms of team performance and relative squad strength/depth). As a previous post alluded to so far we've only beaten teams that the aforementioned teams will also be expected to take points from.

Of course I hope we win, but would prefer we set out to avoid defeat first and foremost. If that means a draw for me it won't be a bad result.

I get what you're saying but with the exception of burnley who beat Liverpool and we dominated. If you look at our ability to rally for late goals that to me is always the sign of a title contender, we are moving the ball far quicker and clearing up in midfield recycling the ball well, we have looked dominant, as for our defence I am a believer in luiz coming good, zouma should be back soon and Alonso will hopefully slot in well, by Jan we will be a well oil unit and I think the best in the league along with city, until then I think we will get by on our ability to score and keep our defence protected from the midfield, it's not impossible to lose to Liverpool at home but worse Chelsea teams have beat them at the bridge I see no reason not to expect a win tonight, we are playing well, I'm the type of supporter who thinks on the night we can beat anyone, maybe you're more pragmatic but for me it wouldn't be any fun supporting my team thinking they will lose big games.

thank you, such a horrendous word.  And that's coming from me, who uses c**t with flippant disregard.

Going to take some getting used to having a Friday night game.  Only downside for me is that's the middle of the day here.  I'll be able to see most of the 1st half, and then I've a lunch meeting.  It is at a Mexican restaurant, so I am hoping they'll have the footy on.  Vamos mis hermanos!

we're going to get relegated

Haha, that's awesome.

I've been seeing some pretty salty Liverpool fans online...probably pissed because Chelsea has replaced them in the last decade or so.

3 points!
