Chalobah looking quite good and much better than Loftus-Cheek.

to be fair, he's not playing out of position or against 11 men.

he's done well but it is hardly a fair comparison.

so muchh better after extra time, me and the boys in the chelsea away end have all agreed oscar OUT and chalobah IN next game, he's looked so much better can't believe he's getting his professional debut tonight

Whilst i take the point RLC has had numerous opportunities in the first team and has generally failed to live up to expectations.

Chalobah is also an international player, has play about 90 games out on loan, has rarely been given the chance in our first, yet whenever i have seen him play he has looked quality and dealt with everything in front of him. What must he do to earn a run in this team for a period of time.

Not too sure if I agree with Moses MOTM. He's been decent, I can't think of any occasion he's lost the ball, but there hasn't been anything incisive enough for me. Hazard's done more in a third of the time, but maybe that's an unfair comparison.

Saying that, he's looked sharper than Willian has this season, who's been well off the boil.

The one that's disappointed me is Alonso. Very little defending to do but he's put us under pressure a few times with loose passing, and that's despite playing it safe all game.

On the positive side, Chalobah's looked very composed in the middle. Not sure if it'll happen soon but I'd be interested to see him alongside Kante. Not convinced Matic is the best player we have for that box-to-box role in the three.

It may be so, but he offers himself to receive the ball, looks more confident and with more quality in his touch. But I talk only from today's match.

A terrible first half defensively, a good second half and extra time from our attackers to get us out of a hole though. Fabregas to play against Arsenal for me, we look more dangerous going forward with him there.

don't get me wrong, I like him and think he has something to offer us on a more regular basis. but the comparison with ruben isn't a fair one IMO.

Brilliant result!

bit of a Jekyll & Hyde performance...

The defence is still a worry of course, we looked really off the pace first half.

Positives are Chalobah looked very composed despite it being against 10 men, Costa is still looking very dangerous, Luiz passing is a joy to watch at times, Fab on the scoresheet twice to stake a claim and Moses is knocking on the door as well!

all the positives aside, courtouis really needs to be dropped after his first half performance, good save in the second but after his comments earlier today he's a liability that doesn't want to be here

No disrespect to fab, but does anyone else find his voice hilarious?

Not quite sure why it is, but all of the Spaniards we've had speak at a higher pitch when they speak English. Be interesting to know if the same is perhaps true when we speak Spanish or if we maybe sound deeper than them on average.

I don't think Courtois could do anything about the 2 goals to be fair...

Yep it's the same with Mata and Azpi sound like they're on helium in English

Dreadful defending in the opening 30 minutes - everything after was solid.

Moses looked exceptional tonight, looked very threatening on the right win.

Alonso looked good on his debut in my opinion, Azpi looked much better on the right. What a goal!

Matic...meh.

Fabregas amazing.

Chalobah was great, needs to play more.

Costa always threatening.

Batshuayi worked hard but just couldn't find any end product.

Loftus-Cheek, feel sorry for the guy. Played out of position but tried.

Begovic...meh.

Pedro meh.

All in all, great comeback, great win and great momentum heading into the Arsenal match.
