January 4, 20179 yr The mood on Redcafe concerning this match is quite hilarious. More than half of them want a Spurs win or at least a draw and are slagging of those who want a Chelsea win just to climb higher than Spurs and put more distance between us and Liverpool. The lot of them are actually convinced they've still got a shot at winning the title. Feck me. On the game, I sincerely hope we smash the bar stewards today. Their players have been mouthing off a lot over the past few days about this game. I hope our boys come out and play possessed like they did in that 2-2 draw. Except this time with better play obviously. A 3-0 win would be tasty. But I just want a win anyhow we can get it. Got to put some distance between us and Liverpool. If we lead Liverpool by 8 points with them going into the United game at Old Trafford, that would be ideal. United could very well beat them in that game and we'd be mostly out of sight. If we can come away from the next 5 games still holding an 8 point lead, I think that's the title done and dusted. The 5 games after that are piss easy. Next 5: Spurs (Away) Leicester (Away) Hull (Home) Liverpool (Away) Arsenal (Home) The 5 games after that: Burnley (Away) Swansea (Home) West Ham (Away) Watford (Home) Stoke (Away) I shouldn't say piss easy but they're at least very winnable game. Plus during the period of the 2nd 5 games I listed, the other teams (except Liverpool) will resume playing in Europe so there's every chance we get out of sight. Let's hope we shaft these bar stewards today.
January 4, 20179 yr Up the Chels! Lots of players that hate Tottenham in the squad and JT will remind them of the bad blood between us. Im confident of a convincing victory. They are sh*t and lack the quality to match us.
January 4, 20179 yr Can't shake the feeling Spuds are going to be the team to stop us tonight. Hurts just thinking about it but just got that feeling.

January 4, 20179 yr Come on Chelsea! Let's beat the Spuds. We need a good performance and the three points!

If we are leading with two goals or more towards the end i'm not sure i'd be against subbing on Ivanovic when overtime starts just to completely clatter Dier, Dembele, Rose or Walker. Red card or not, if someone deserve to be at the end of some of the stuff they dished out last season its them.
January 4, 20179 yr This and the LIverpool away match are the ones that I'm worried about. There is so much bad blood between us and them. We stopped them from winning the Premiership last season with that Hazard beauty. They want to beat us real bad and prove they are the top side in London.I'm pooping it already. Matic in midfield for me. This is going to be a tough match. I will be happy with a draw but I hope we don't don't lose and that is a real possibility. This will be a war of attrition. Let's hope we come out on top. COME ON YOU BLUES !!!
January 4, 20179 yr That shed end chav forum is a comical joke reading through the match thread. The hypocrisy and audacity of the nuckle dragging chav c**ts is astounding. Sitting there complaining about Kane coming out saying we want to end Chelsea winning run and calling us bitter. Right ,so you completely forgot fabregas and Hazard on sky sports saying how badly they wanted leicester to win the league after having such a piss poor embarrassing season for their own club? Not to mention the Chelsea team only turning up for our game the whole season. Let's also not forget the chav fans celebrating a draw like they just won the league. Bunch of hypocritical chav Jeremy Kyle gap toothed c**ts!!!! Well the fighting cock forum seems to be losing the plot slightly. I don't think they like us for some reason..
January 4, 20179 yr I've been reading that fighting cock forum and no wonder why Spurs are a tin pot club with no success. Their fans are absolutely horrible. It's a hard task trying to find comments about the match because all they care to talk about are vile irrelevant conjecture about us being racist, homophobic etc. They are really not right in the head. We won't lose tonight but if a draw for you is a bad result then that's the worst it will come to. For all their talent, we can match them all over the pitch. One player they don't have is Eden Hazard. No reason why we can't get 3 points.
January 4, 20179 yr Glad to see the soft lads are reading this thread. Must hurt them so much we won the big one (Only team in London to do so) and by doing so we punted their useless arses out of the CL. What a glorious night that was. Thing about spuds is that these games against us are their cup final because they are such a useless bunch, even when the big sides are not at it for a whole season they still can't win the league. How depressing for them. Forever in our shadow

Maybe, but they take it toooooooooo far. Honestly they sound like a bunch of 13 year old bitter teenagers. They may very well be just that but my word, maybe their parents should teach them some manners. One even said he hopes all Chelsea fans get aids. I never see such vile talk about our rivals on the Shed. Yes we don't like their club, but the personal and hateful digs are going too far.
January 4, 20179 yr My personal favourite is their constant abuse for us all being racist yet continue to use homophobic slanders against Chelsea fans. Emarrassing bunch of fans. Up there with Arsenal and Liverpool for cringy fan bases.

I still wouldn't write Utd off at the moment although their chances of wining the PL are very limited. I still think it's too early for anybody in the top 6 to be written off. I think a degree of caution is called for but the Blues are in the box seat (what does that mean) and a win tonight will take confidence to levels the premier league has never seen. COYB!

I see a lot of anger and unresolved issues there. There seems to be a belief that we conspired against them to allow Leicester to win it? That's quite profound and a bit absurd, too. Fabregas and Hazard (and everyone else) wanted Leicester to win, yes, but maybe that's more to do with the fact that for Leicester it was a once in a lifetime opportunity. It would have been immoral not to support them. It's like watching kittens and puppies play together in a cardbox, who wouldn't smile at that? Honestly Spurs, find your chill :)
January 4, 20179 yr Win or lose up the Blues!... Lose this and it maybe win or lose back on the booze! But if the worst happened we'd still be commanding a 5 point stretch. That said I fancy us to nick it! UP THE CHELS!!!
January 4, 20179 yr From the fighting c**ts " think we'll comfortably smash these. 4/5 nil. We're a far superior team when fully healthy." A "far superior" team that's 10 points behind and already lost to them ending your unbeaten run
