January 3, 20179 yr also from thereFrom 'the shed' forum 'I'll reckon we'll turn the taps on them and grill them in the Oven.'I will give him the benefit of the doubt. I am sure no bigotry was intended. Vile club for rich hoorays and combat 18 hooligans. checked all the pages in this thread and nobody said this sentence, am i missing something? What type of thick c**ts have they got over there?

When every top club is talking about winning trophies Tottenham fans will be talking about that night in January when they managed to hold Chelsea to a draw and keep the gap at just ten points. It tells you all you need to know about the way they make up history.
January 3, 20179 yr I'm going then back to LA on Friday they will unleash their relentless high press and try & foul like F if chels break at speed and penetrate their mid, I expect an ill tempered affair with a lot of cards think Matic will be back in for Fab a draw won't be the end of the world , just no loss, wouldn't mind see Chelsea break the gooners record either.
January 3, 20179 yr Possibly the biggest game of the season for Tottenham. They have to win to climb into the top 4, not even mentioning the fact that they'll want to get one over us for the past and end our potentially record breaking run. Fully expect Spurs to pull a Spurs and cock it all up. Dembele red card and a Costa last minute offside goal for a narrow 1-0 victory would be perfect for me.

So much on the line for us especially and a win would just be completely unbelieveable to extend our run to 14. Not only that, it would also mean we'll really pull away from the pack in the title race. A draw or a loss, God forbid and many teams are still very much in it. We win at WHL as well and thats a massive blow to all of our competitors i bet you. A draw is not a bad result at all. We keep our 6 point gap and we play Leicester next while Liverpool play Utd.
January 3, 20179 yr I'm really excited for this game, I don't know why but I'm feeling quite optimistic about it.
January 3, 20179 yr Spurs will treat this game as their cup final. Conte will have hopefully learned that the Spurs press, well for at least 45mins, is pretty impressive, no team can continue that kind of pressure for a sustained 90mins, throw in the XMas period of games and it takes away Spurs main threat, granted they had a training game against Watford but they still had a competitive game to worry about while we had the feet up planning for this game. We have 19 games left in this season, I honestly think if we can win 12 of those games, which will put us on 85 points, we'll win the league, get to 85 points and we're champions, for Liverpool to get to 85 or more points they have to pick up 42 points in their 18 games, meaning at least 14 wins and thats if we fail to get to 85 points, which I dont think we will. Anyway, thats for another discussion, I'd take a draw here all day, after Liverpool f**king up against Sunderland after beating City, a draw here wouldnt be the end of the world, especially with Utd v Pool coming up after the FA cup games.
January 3, 20179 yr Thibaut Azpi Luiz Cahill Moses Matic Kante Alonso Willian Costa Hazard. Very confident about this. Specially with the pool result, the pressure is off. Hope we get the win and set the record.
January 3, 20179 yr Off-post comment : i can't comment or post on the " Chelsea Tickets, Travel & Memorabilia " , i'm still searching for a ticket of the Arsenal game (nothing on the Ticket Exchange atm) so i need to post there. Thanks. Edited January 3, 20179 yr by liamseden
January 3, 20179 yr Hope Pedro is drafted back in for this game. He seems to be much more decisive in the final third. When fit Hazard - Costa - Pedro has to be the preferred choice.
January 3, 20179 yr Spurs are playing well. This one will be tight. I'm worried about the legs of Moses and Alonso and hazard. Think we may have enough but a draw wouldn't surprise. They have a tight defence.
January 3, 20179 yr the last game we went into when i was just as wary of was vs everton. we beat them 5-0. one can wish

January 3, 20179 yr Everyone wants us to lose! Even Lawro has given it to the Spuds. I hope we beat them 3-1. Start off with Pedro then put on Willian at 68 mins for that devastating counter attack!
January 3, 20179 yr Thank God we don't get more of the Twitter ‘fans’ on here, according to them Cahill, Alonso and Matic all need replacing and we are more or less doomed for Wednesday. Oh and some think Costa hasn't been up to scratch, it's all opinions though apparently, I wonder if they are all brain dead or just spoilt fans who hopped on the bandwagon a few years ago, probably both. January 3, 20179 yr According to Kane Spurs are desperate to end our run. I don't see anyone complaining the same way they did when we said we wanted to deny them the title
January 3, 20179 yr Spurs overran our midfield in the first the last time we played. Hope Conte has something up his sleeve.
January 3, 20179 yr Nice little dilemma for Conte: Willian or Pedro, Willian had his best game of the season against Stoke and Pedro literally dragged us off the floor against Spurs at the Bridge so will be a difficult call to make. I would probably start Pedro due to his directness & impact in the initial match against Spurs and bring on Willian to run at tired legs in the 2nd half.
January 3, 20179 yr this game is becoming pretty big !! biggest so far this season? plenty of pressure on both sides, might well come down to which team keeps it together
January 3, 20179 yr If we dont give them a complete tanking I hope we win by an offside goal after having a goal of theirs disallowed....not because I don't want to outplay them but just to see those miserable c**ts squirm, silly buggers talking about History books, you mean the ones that say f**k all about Tottenham because they have never won anything?
