Think the extra rest will help us as Spurs play a high intensity game so it will be interesting to see how they do after 60 mins.

Yep.

Hoping for a high intensity match for them against Watford tonight. Preferably a tough derby-match with a few tackles flying about and so on aswell.

I like that Conte has said that the winning run counts for nothing if we don't win the title. He's set the objective for the second half of the season, he's showing confidence in the men we've got.

In contrast Klopp is trying to suppress expectations, so is Guardiola.

On the Spurs game. I expect them to be fast and furious with lots of dodgy tackles and provocation. Can't predict a result, it could go either way but our guys will enter the game confident of winning and determined to do so.

COME ON CHELS!

sh*tty spurs are resting dembele and sissoko against watford and also have walker and vertoghen suspended. Hope its a deja vu and they lose this just like they did against monaco in the champions league and then we hammer. Actually we are due a win in 3 point lane

This will be a cup final for sp*rs, a bit like the game for us at the bridge last may...while I obviously hope we get record 14th straight win in a single season, I'd be happy with a point

Willian had a somewhat decent game against Stoke, but so did Pedro against Bournemouth. Conte will have a hard time picking between the two. personally i'd go with the latter

Has nothing to do with FA. We were supposed to play on Monday but Sky moved us to Wednesday

is that right? didn't know sky has so much power to be able to influence the league's fixture but not complaining, it works well for us, giving us more time to prepare..

I hope people aren't sh*tting their pants because they beat a terrible side. Utd made them look average and we ended their so called unbeaten run. It won't be an easy game but I'm very confident of a victory.

gonna be a tough game; has been for a few seasons now. it is no longer three point lane, but really hoping we make it to at least 15 game win streak - would be fantastic accomplishment, and a standard for teams in future to aim for.

This will be a really tight, edgy game - at least the most difficult challenge we've faced since Man City.

They will press aggressively from the off, so it is important that Matic and Kante do not get caught in possession during the first 30 minutes.

After that they will tire and we can pick them off on the counter.

Spurs looked impressive vs Watford but I'm not sure how much we can take from that - Watford haven't been very good in recent months and they've been ravaged by injury.

I didn't even realise they played today until I opened this thread. Honestly, let them have that 4-1 today. The higher they fly, the more they open up at us, the better for us.

One thing for sure is that they are mentally weak and inferior to us in every department. Hopefully the players are pumped up and we ruin them. Can't wait to hear old ball bag face and ball bag face junior post match meltdown.

The media will be w**king over them going above city. 'Title contenders'. Yeah course they are. Ten points behind. c**ts.

tbf spudz already are above Man City  & rightfully so - think about the money spent by City on the Gaffer & the players - right now in the League table it's London>>>manchester

I think Conte will absolutely make sure they don't make the same mistake against Tottenham as we did when we played them at the bridge. The players need to also make sure they remember how Tottenham played and don't make the same mistakes. We know what to expect high press when we try to play out so go for long kick to Costa surround him so we win the second Ball as if we play out from the back we will lose possession and he vulnerable

They are going to come flying at us, but they will leave space to counter.

Matic and Kante are going to be important for us this game, the more balls they win the more we can counter with our pace.
