Saturday at 21:262 days Macca's Match break. I really don't want these breaks finding their way back to the Premier league.
Saturday at 21:312 days Getting nothing from the wingers, or really, all attackers. Very slow. A little too easy for Panama defense right now

Saturday at 21:472 days Anderson has been the only player to properly turn up for us in this tournament so far
Saturday at 21:492 days 45 minutes ago, Andy North said:Are they still going to have the rehydration breaks in the p*ssing rain?Of course. When else will FIFA rake it in for adverts.
Saturday at 21:512 days 46 minutes ago, Andy North said:Are they still going to have the rehydration breaks in the p*ssing rain?Advertising waits for no man. Hydration Break. Four minutes and 20 seconds per match. Or seven hours, 30 minutes and 40 seconds across the tournament. Advertising during hydration breaks is likely to generate more than $250m (£189m) in the USA alone. Globally that is about $1 billion (£756m).Just a reminder: Capitalism doesn't care about you or your game or your club or your country.
Saturday at 21:522 days Terrible half. Anderson only one even exerting any level of effort. Rashford and Bellingham ok. Rodgers and Saka - you’d barely know they are playing.
Saturday at 21:542 days Well this is embarrassing….. we thought that Ghana “did a job on us” are Panama doing the same ? Like most years we really are not as good as we think we are Please prove me wrong in the second half 🙄

Panama are playing 5 across the back - but still - England are clumsy with poor crosses and they seem to have forgotten how to play offside.
Saturday at 21:552 days England are so predictably sh*t. Every tournament, same sh*t. Doesn't matter who coaches them, there is something mentally wrong with English footballers. I don't know if it's how they are coached from youth level, but there is just something that completely blocks them when they play for England. I have never seen another countries players just look so frightened when they play for their country.

Spain played against a Cape Verde that defended for their lives, but Spain created a ton of chances. Every England player just settles on the basics when they put an England shirt on. There is never any individualism, they haven't got the balls for it. They play safe, cowardly football.
Saturday at 22:072 days And Kane is a good player and our record goal scorer (in the modern era) Call me old fashioned but if don’t touch the ball you are going to find it challenging to score a goal, or has football changed ?
Saturday at 22:122 days FFS how did that happen? I thought the Canal Boys were going to give us an own goal for sure.
Saturday at 22:142 days It’s not really a fair comparison given quality, but the speed and technical ability of France across Olise, Mbappe and Dembele makes the English forwards look like a championship line. No cohesion whatsoever. I swear this is exactly what we watched in the back half of Tuchel tenure.
Saturday at 22:162 days Could have taken Palmer Foden and Rio all capable of opening up a defence but no sh*t like Henderson is desperately needed

Aggressively marking him and and their other defenders are able to comfortably keep up with Saka and Rashford and force their runs into harmless areas In these scenarios you need your non strikers to cause chaos; muscle the way through, keep going and force a risky tackle or simply do some fancy footwork and make a defender commit himself. Rashford being forced out to the side only makes him a danger to the side netting (assuming he doesn't just pass it backwards). The only threat England are showing is when Kane loses his man
Saturday at 22:222 days Yes! Relief! This one has me too tense. Admittedly we got tickets to knockout round in Atlanta for Wednesday, which will be England if they win. Parents land Monday, would love to surprise them. Please England, please do this! Edited Saturday at 22:252 days by PhilH930

Saturday at 22:272 days We’d have been better off playing a team that actually attacks us in the next round
