shed 50th anniv vid....excellent.. Big Bob n his bro.  Will see big bob tho on his Chelsea stall next time I'm kicking up the cobble stones, looking for fun n feeling groovy daarn the Fulham rd... Love these guys

Mike, next time you see Bob, ask him how his 2nd son is. Bob runs his stall with his eldest, and his middle son doe's the one right opp Fulham Broadway station. Last Nov he nearly died after choking, and was put into a coma for a week or so in Addenbrooke Hospital.
Fortunately he made a complete recovery.

It's good to see at last the guy that took the photos, sharing clean copies, I've colourised a couple of them from poor copies riddled with internet compression, and will post them on here. But looking at the photos reminds me that most Chelsea supporters at that time weren't Skin's they were Suedeheads, that was like Skinheads a progression of the Mod fashion

Hi. My name is David and in the early 70s I spent at least a year with Bubbles, Jean, Eccles and all the Shed Boys taking hundreds of photos of you all for the Sunday Times Magazine, one of which you reproduce on your web site. I was a long-haired Yetti, but you kindly took me under your protective wings, guarding me against 'enemies,' such as the Arsenal, while I was snapping some wonderful photos. I still have all the original negatives, and they provide excellent historical images of you in all your glories!

I would love to make contact with you all, particularly Bubbles, Jean and Eccles, so that I can share my memories and photos with you. We could create an album of photos to celebrate those great times, and post them on your web site as a permanent record of your glory days!

I attach a photo of Bubbles and Jean and will be very grateful for any replies.

All the very best,

David

I'm a good friend of Bubbles, David. He is still about around the World's End and continues to go to Chelsea. Sadly Jeanie is no longer with us. You can contact me on here or on Facebook ( I'm Steve Petts) if you wish to meet up with Bubbles

I can't stop looking at this photo.  I recognize the lad on the front right with his arms folded from that video of Eccles and the Shed up in Newcastle.  Also it looks like Ian Hutchinson is trying to sneak in the photo top left !  Where is Elm Brook Park by the way?

You might want to think of watermarking these great pictures, they'll be on ebay before you know it.

Good point Peckham Blue. Saw the one of D.H on  Facebook last night, copied from here.

It's the park that runs along the side of the tube line and goes down to the Kings Road, where everyone goes for the end of the open top bus parade. most people think it's Parsons Green but that is father west.

Eel Brook Common. Used to play football on the gravel pitch there as a kid.

I asked this q years ago to someone on our train. He said....eccles is called Eccles coz he loves the Eccles cakes...true or not I don't know

When I asked one of Danny's mates the same question, I was told: "Because he hasn't got ginger hair."

And that was the last time I ever asked that question.

Eel Brook Common. I used to go training over there with Chelsea Spartans, back when Kojak was the manager.

So did I, around 78/79.
