Worst result of the season. Couldn't have came at a worse time eighter.

Thought we had the chance to extend our lead to 12 or 13 with Tottenham having a difficult away game today, instead its 7 and wide open.

Must win against City now. Lose points there and Tottenham will have the initiative.

Disaster.

I will never forgive us if we lose a 10 points gap only for Spurs to win the title in god knows how many centuries
still, i believe this team has fight in it, will fight it out until the last day if it need to be

What an absolute freak of a game. The quality of our football not being matched by the quality of our finishing. It happens sometimes, but you have to look back at that awful handball decision and it's hard not to think we were completely let down there. Would have been a very different outcome if the officials got that right. Still, you can't defend the wastefulness of our finishing. Costa is capable of so much better, I don't know what's got into him lately.

On the plus side, at least we get to raise Spurs' hopes before crushing them again when we lift the trophy in May.

This is one game you don't think we'd lose, especially after losing it last year for like the first time in forever.

With this kind of performance, we're likely to fall apart at the seems. I'm sure our locker room will be full of finger pointing.

Our last season was something like this, a poor performance and we started to blame.

Hope we have the mettle to retain our top position.

The silver lining here is this will be a kick up the arse, the players will realise we can't just slip into cruise mode, do be fair first half we played some lovely football, but Chelsea shouldn't be conceding 2 to palace in 90 seconds, conte I'm sure will let them know about themselves, dust it off but more of a race on now, if we are not nervous wrecks I suppose it makes it a bit more exciting...

I really think we'll go out on Wednesday and put in a great performance against City and get the 3 points. I also think Spurs are due to drop points and they will. If we created nothing today I'd be worried. We need to get this out of our system and get back to winning ways. 9 games to go and 7 points clear. Still a great position. We would have all wanted to be in this position at the start of the season so let's all stay positive!
