Chelsea Vs Palace (PL) Sat 01/04 2017 KO 15:00 GMT

Very disappointing result. On any other day, we would have won that match.

Have to reassure ourselves that we're still in pole position to win the title, but this will be a good wake up call to the squad if there was any hint of complacency to begin with because nothing can be taken for granted until we're mathematically safe.

The match against City has only become bigger and crucial now.

f**king fuming with that, absolutely bottling it, everyone preparing for next season thinking we had won the league already, check spurs fixtures, not many losses in it, then check ours.....

City only know how to attack, they can't sit on a lead or be organised and defensively sound like Palace. As long as if Chelsea can sort out the defence again they should be able to pick City of on the break. Problem is City are massively better at attacking than Palace. Squeaky bum weeks here we come.

spot on.

incredible result really, and at the absolute worst time given our upcoming fixtures.

Tottenham's next three fixtures are f**king easy to ours

Every game Spurs play that i see on the tv is easy and usually at home  wtf makes the schedule

Could have played until midnight and we wouldn't have scored. Just one of those annoying games. Unfortunately, with City next, that could easily be 0 points from 6, and with Spurs winning as usual, suddenly the gap is nowhere near as big.

when was the last time Costa scored? memory a bit hazy, but i think it has been a few games where he has been wasteful

TBH he has scored a couple but his general performances have been poor for quite a while. Very similar to 2 seasons back.

Swansea, bournemouth at WHL and watford? C'mon

No easy games on the run in to a title. Today we choked, who knows what twists will follow.

Deep breaths...7 points with 9 games to go...yep, the fear is here.

RLC to start up front vs City or is that a crazy knee jerk response?

You could start Cahill up front and he'd be better than Costa at the moment.

Just a shame our fixture had to coincide with Zaha's annual 3 week run of playing well, he'll be back into obscurity soon. Dreadful loss but we actually played quite well, shame our centre forward stands on the spot looking at all those great crosses flash by him.

Anyways, onwards and upwards and time for me to go and buy a new remote as it met a tragic end when that final whistle blew

No one to blame but ourselves here, not the ref, not the fixture people, we got complacent today, hopefully that gives the squad a good boot up the arse for the next games. Piss poor defending for their goals cost us the three points, now we need to get a bit of momentum going with a good result against city, and hope that spurs slip up against swansea or bournemouth

Losing to palace at home is not what should be happening!

After taking the lead.

i dunno but I still don't think this league is done yet.

we have given Spurs some hope now.

just knew this game was gonna be tough

Feel sick, cheating Palace don't deserve the win considering the 100 per cent penalty we should have had, but to be honest 2-2 would have been a fair result - they defended resolutely, we didn't take our chances despite all the opportunities and time we had - doesn't matter how nice the football looks at times if there is no end product.

Have to react and get a result against Man City mid-week now, can't let Spurs get any closer or it's going to be terribly nervous ahead.

C'mon Chelsea, lets put this horrible day behind us and get back to winning ways straight away!

Spurs last five fixtures.

Palace (A)

Arsenal (H)

West Ham (A)

United (H)

Hull (A)

Three London derbies, United and a relegation battler. However, we are in a bit of trouble now. City must win.
