May 13, 20179 yr (Unpopular opinions from a Chelsea fan) - I don't hate Liverpool, but I do like poking fun at them - Man U remain my least favourite team - Harry Kane seems like a very grounded guy and a quality striker - I don't question Liverpool's account of Hillsborough and fully support their boycott of The Sun - Dele Alli is even more dangerous than Harry Kane with his marauding runs from midfield, plus he doesn't benefit from taking penalties - Bundesliga is a bit Bayern-heavy for me to really like - Sam Allardyce is a more versatile, progressive manager than he's given credit for (not really saying that much)

May 13, 20179 yr Watching Barcelona under PEP bored me to tearsThis. People raved about tiki-taka. I thought it was awfulAlso, I don't see the hype with Borussia Dortmund. They seem to be Germany's answer to Liverpool

Can't say I blame them for this reaction in 2005 when the two sides met in the Champions League.

May 13, 20179 yr Here's one that might get some tongue's wagging, Rodgers has done a brilliant job at Celtic.

He's a very good goalkeeper, but i hate the way people make out that he is some sort of god of goalkeepers. 3 hours ago, adineen98 said: This. People raved about tiki-taka. The problem with it is that Barcelona would take forever to actually create anything, they would bore you to death by passing it around the middle, then back to defence, then back to midfield. When they actually put an attack together and scored from it, it was good to watch, it was all of the inbetween stuff that bored me.

May 14, 20179 yr Adrian Mutu would have been a world class striker for us if he'd stayed away from the charlie.
May 14, 20179 yr - Cristiano is a better footballer than Messi. - I hate Liverpool & Celtic more than I hate Tottenham... only just, but still. - Scousers hide behind Hillsborough to divert attention from how irrelevant they've become in the PL area. - The Umbro Chelsea kits on the whole were better than the Adidas ones.
May 14, 20179 yr I hate Rangers and Celtic equally and all this old firm sectarian bollocks can f**k right off. I don't really care about Liverpool and find our seemingly one-way obsession a bit embarrassing. Scholes was a much better player than Lampard (although Lampard's achievements are remarkable and he fully deserves legendary status). Referees get too much criticism from fans who get to see multiple slow motion replays of each incident from every conceivable angle.

Agree with all apart from being less sure about Scholes being a better player than Lampard

May 14, 20179 yr Well that's blatantly not true.I think Liverpool care much more about Man Utd and Everton than us. But anyway... this is the unpopular opinion thread so I guess I'm doing it right.

It usually goes along the line of "Imagine the uproar if [fill in name, usually Costa] did something like this." It's getting Scouserish in its victim-thinking.
