He defo won't go for that low. Sterling had 1 year left on his contract and went for £49m. Chamberlain with 1 year left and just 23 has years left so despite a year on his contract, Arsenal will still receive a big sum for him, especially if it turns out to a bidding war where it can turn into an auction. For instance, Liverpool who defo want him and plan to play him in his favoured position, will be prepared to offer around £30m and possibly more imo which means other teams interested such as us will have to offer around similar amounts if we want him.

I think he had 2 years left on his contract.

I'm not a huge fan of AOC, but I'd take him if it meant getting rid of Moses.

Wish we sold Didier after his first season when he was diving all over the place too.

My bad, You are right however he prob still would of gone for around £40m or so. Because there are a few teams interested in Chamberlain, if he is to go I do think it will be around £30m or just under.

He wasn't. Compared to Hazard, Courtois, Alonso, Azpilicueta, Cahill, Pedro, Willian, Costa and every other member of the starting XI, he was the least best of the bunch. He did very well for the first half of the season and caught us all by surprise. He performed okay in the latter half, but definitely tailed off.

Besides, I respect the fact that you feel differently to me about him. Do you think you have it in you to reciprocate?

You're saying this with the benefit of hindsight, which isn't fair. Had the club decided to get rid of Drogba in the early years and replaced him with A, B or C, there wouldn't have been a major outcry.

There would have been an outcry had Didier reached those levels at another club we had sold him to. If we sell Moses now and he ends up being the best wing back in the league in a year or so how daft would we all feel then.

You mean like selling Luiz, and buying him back, and selling Lukaku and (supposedly) buying him back, you mean like selling Matic and then buying him back, you mean like.... etc etc.

Clubs can't hold on to what ifs and maybes in this day and age where everyone expects instant results. Had Didier left us at that stage, and then moved on to another club and done well, that doesn't mean we wouldn't still have achieved all those things we did in the later years.

I'd like to see a bit more morality and integrity to the game, starting with us. We're the English champions.

wouldn't see the point in him. may as well buy a suitable wing back if that would be the position we were looking to upgrade.

I think 30-35mil pounds would be his valuation with 2-3 years left on the contract, even in this crazy market. If arsenal are actually demanding 40mil, they must be insane cause he is no where near worth that amount and I can see him going for free a year later, and we can pounce on him then, in case we still need a RWB.

Only buy him if Moses suffers a long term injury. Decent crosses and physicality but how in the world did we go from the likes of Alves to him. Anything more than 20m is too high

I like the lad. Would have him at the Bridge happily.

Swap deals always  look good on paper and appear to make sense but very rarely happen.

Absolutely, and Matic is worth more surely. I'd offer 20-25m for Ox and just see. 

Keep Matic as leverage for Sandro deal

I'd like money included in the deal especially when we can sell Matic for 40m to elsewhere.

The deal definitely makes sense though, for homegrown reasons. He'd be a decent squad player at the very least.

Well this would be a step down. He's versatile, but equally he's not good enough in any of those positions.
