Definitely missing Kante's legs in midfield and Hazards creativity.

Jorginho and Fabregas shouldn't play in the same midfield. Theres no movement and leaves an ocean wide gap between midfield and defense.

In Azpi’s defence he hasn’t played there in a couple of years!

Kyle Walker has insane speed. I think that's why Hudson Odoi has been showing him too much respect today. He knows he can't outpace him like he can with everyone else.

I miss the days when we didn't need to rely on one or two players. You could take Drogba and Lampard out of our team and we would still be good enough to compete with the best teams.

Checking the fotmod app it says we have had more possession that city, that can't be true?

Different positions but when you put Alonso in that mix that’s three players in the 10 outfielders that seriously lack pace.

How is Cesc still playing for us.

Sarri speaking with Drinkwater on the touch line, maybe a half time change for Fabregas who has struggled to get into the game.

Might help tighten up the defensive fragility we’re showing in the middle this first half.

Intereting that Fabregas and Barkley have swapped sides in the middle, City were getting a lot of joy down our right.

Listening on 5 Live, Dion Dublin is mad and not in a good way. Annoying.

Another example of Hudson Odoi being scared to take Walker on there.
Was hoping Walker wouldn't play today to be honest so Hudson could have built on the confidence he got against Arsenal.

It wouldn't surprise me. It's been played a lot in defense though.

I agree but at the same time I would have been interested to see how that 1 on 1 had turned out had Walker not managed to get his arm across him early.

I think you meant to say Drogba or Lampard not both.

This high press is probably the main thing we need to work on as City are playing round it and we’re higher up the pitch which makes it harder to defend the rest of the pitch. Also not enough legs/pace in midfield 3

No, i meant both. If those two were left out of a game, we were still incredibly hard to beat. Take Hazard and Kante out of this team, and everybody seems to fancy their chances against us.

Poor half from Fabregas, we don’t have enough pace in midfield,

He’s fine as back up to Jorginho, nothing more and he’ll more than likely be dropped when Kante is back.

Cesc playing with a small injury, so would expect him to come off

Not a great half of football. I expect to see Drinkwater for Fabregas in the second half. He wasn't talking to Drinkwater for nothing. I wouldn't mind seeing Willian on for Pedro now too. I know Willian has just got back, but Pedro has been as bad as he was last season. The thing i want to see most of all though is a bit of speed in our play, it's very Serie A at the moment.

1-0 at half time isn't a disaster. We are learning we aren't going to be playing the best team in the country every week.

We need a new LB, midfielder, CB and striker.
Way to many holes in the squad to do anything against the best teams for me unfortunatly this year.
