Probably because of what we just saw.
Our squad isn't suited to the style of the manager. No one should need time or games or whatever to see it.

 

Really disappointing thing this is probably our best chance of a trophy this season.

Our guys are just jogging through this while City are really up for it. Poor stuff.

Players should already know how to press though, should already know how to pass, sarri could be the best manager in history but half the team is sh*te,

We lack the organisation both with the ball and when pressing. It leaves gaps in our team that a side as organised as Man City will exploit. The poor pressing we did against Arsenal was more effective because they are much less organised on the ball compared to Man City. It's not a surprise that they are cutting through us with how underdeveloped our pressing system is right now.

 

Fortunately most teams will struggle with our primitive pressing so we won't be as exposed as much as this whilst we develop under Sarri to a much more organised level. 

Can't say I'm surprised by any of this. We have a pretty poor squad, this transfer window certainly hasn't changed that. Add to Sarris new system and tactics and I think we'd lost to pretty much every top side at the moment.

 

 

We look well off being ready. 

We are far too slow, i really hope this isn't the tempo we will be playing this season, because we will be found out.

Well, Sarri has annoyed me already. Instead of giving Hudson-Odoi a chance, he has put faith in Pedro who has done nothing good all game. Give the youngster a chance for once.

Bakayoko > cesc and drinkwater, our squad is a shambles,and its not gona get better unless the board is replaced, slowly being turned into mid table

Quite worried to be honest, I know we have a few important players to come back but we look so far off the pace tactically and physically.

We are in transition clearly but if we don't shake off the deadwood in our squad and replace them with quality we could be left a long way behind.

They need time. It's been 3 weeks. 3 weeks!

The worry is when we lose possession we get easily  outdone

If you watch the game Jorginho has been given piss poor passes so he lost the ball a few times its due to bad decision making from the others. He hasnt misplaced passes himself. Like Pedro playing a bad pass when there are 3 players around Jorginho. I watch the game with context not look at individual errors. 

We are playing with the desire and hunger of a team that finished 6th because that's an accurate reflection of how good they are. 

Hazard is probably on the phone to his agent right now.

The bad thing about the second goal came from losing the ball high up the field on the left, when the ball hits the net Alonso isn’t in sight. Don’t know if we can play with a back four with Luiz and Alonso

We have to give it time......but thinking this team will fight for the title is way way out there imo. Are people worried now maybe? We have bought a gorginho, and I have high hopes for him, but simply far far away being enough......

I think our lads are tired and we will not turn this around. We are trying what they are trying with inferior players. 

I won’t take too much notice of this game but we need at least 3 new signings 

The system definitely needs more work.
