I understand that, definitely. I look at two key players that are blocking the way for Ampadu and CHO. That's Cahill and Moses. Cahill being in the squad I understand. He's a leader. He's been captain, and for the most part he has been very consistently solid over his Chelsea career. However, Moses I don't see how he makes Chelsea better as a winger. I think CHO could offer more, and probably at worse the same/

Looking to see who plays up front for the youth these days? Maybe Brown or Redan could get a run out? Hudson-Odoi is more of a wide player.

Sadly like all of his other attempts recently, he will probably miss the opportunity to show that he is worthy of a first team spot

 

This scoreline is embarrassing,same thing happened with conte, play the same XI for so long that when anyone else comes in they are so rusty,

Morata is too distracted once any contact is made on him. He should expect it, he's a striker, defenders are always going to be doing something to put you off.

Funny, I don't feel embarrassed at all.

120 minutes of football against two teams that most people have said are hopeless, league 1 standard. 1 goal. and we had to bring the big guns on to get that.

No doubt this will now end up being too tight a scoreline to even see Ampadu get a run out sadly

I’m sorry but CHO would be giving us the directness we need here. Insistence on playing through the middle against teams that sit deep and compact is so weird.

At this point I'm trying to remember if he's ever scored a goal at all.

This is pretty appalling fro us so far actually. So little quality out thereat teh moment, especially in the final third. Hopefully one goal will settle us.
