Leicester City vs Chelsea (PL) Sun 12th May 15:00 GMT

Coming back from Leicester. The atmosphere was fantastic today and I wasn’t expecting us to be so dominant. We played well but you could feel the hols coming our way. Still, the fans were great an Leicester didn’t do much. We should have beaten them but then again we were not playing for much. And Everton helped us with the job of finishing third!

Dan Levene is claiming that there was anti-Semitic chanting at the game today.

I asked him to provide evidence for his claims, because I heard nothing of the sort today.

I only heard anti-Dan Levene chants.

Anti Sarri guys are too harsh. The squad is incapable of winning the pl. we’ve underinvested for years and made bad choices mostly when we did spend, eg morata, drinkwater, bakyoko. There was no preseason. Really the squad needs lots of change, where’s our salah, van dyke, de Bruyne,  Bernardo Silva etc  in saying that it’s respect to spuds who haven’t bought a player in two seasons  still that will cost them down the track as their starters get overworked

Im not happy with 3rd and a very average 3rd at that, yet 6-7 weeks ago we were looking much worse than that. Leicester are a good side and an away draw there is ok.

We had to change style completely this season a bigger change than the move to a back 3 which conte managed brilliantly.

We played well I thought. Jorginho I was impressed with, Dave and Luiz as well. All that was missing were the goals our performance deserved.

Barkley and Higuain both should score and the ref did not call the clear pen on RLC cause he did not want Simpsons fair well spoiled.

Just watching MOTD; if that penalty shout at the end was Salah and not Eden then it’s 100% given.

One on Ruben more for me. Ref gave them a free kick on the edge of our box for the exact same thing.

It was a sound performance, should have won the game with the chances we created. That's the difference between this and the Monday night game, City found a way to break the door open, and we couldn't despite played a good game under the circumstances. Jorginho is starting to look more comfortable with passing and defending, his positioning is getting better, and didn't hesitate to stuck in. Azpi looked an assured Central defender, he's not going to win battles against a 6'3 big target man, but he defended well against Vardy. Higuain was doing his best to convince us not to sign him, there was a miserable miss, could have taken an extra touch and walked into the goal. I don't think a pre season is the answer for him, we need to find the fountain of youth to turn him around.

I heard absolutely nothing of the sort yesterday, and that would not be the first time this season that Levene had reported such 'incidents' at games that I have heard nothing.

The bloke is a freelance journalist and strikes me as a bit desperate to honest. Reports on 'racism' from his press box without even being present in the concourses of away ends or sat in the stands with the fans. What he does is actually quite dangerous. He practically led the media witch hunt against that bloke who was accused of racism towards Sterling, with absolutely no evidence to support what he was saying. The guy has since been proven innocent after losing his job as a result of the false accusations. If it was me I'd be looking at legal action against Levene.

People have called him out on Twitter for what he does, but his simple go to response is just to brand people as racists. He's too simple to realise that it's not him standing up against racism that people are against, but rather accusing people/whole away ends of racism based on hear-say or with no evidence whatsoever, and in some cases, ruining peoples lives in the process.

Funny thing is, he even has history of racially abusing an Indian boy on twitter himself. Pathetic man.

Levene got on our train from Euston at Watford way, about 10am it was full of Chelsea all drinking, people recognised him, he stood sheepishly by door as  trained was packed, no one said anything and were respectful. I was waiting for someone to strike up "famous Tottenham went to see", he would have had a field day

Yeah we got on at Nuneaton and saw him. Funny, because he gives it the big one on twitter then hides himself away in the corner when out and about.

The very definition of a keyboard warrior.

Wasn't sure where else to share this but following this game Chelsea were the only team not to have a player sent off in the Premier League this season.

Can tell Diego isn't here anymore can't you?

We must surely have won the fair play trophy on that basis (Sarris FIRST trophy?!!)

That is good as I hate having players sent off. We often struggle enough with 11 players on the pitch, never mind less than that. I think Alonso and Kovacic were a bit lucky not to see red in games but other than that it has been pretty much incident free. That tells us what we already know - we haven't got too many players capable of "mixing things up a bit" when needed to. We are a bit of a soft touch and I would like to see a bit of a change to that going forward (but hopefully still avoiding red cards).

We were already on 2 red cards after the first game of last season!

He was never red carded for us, was he?
