Well we want 3rd and the final is 2 and a bit weeks away so play our best team,  just dont risk those carrying knocks.

Kepa

Azpi

Cahill

Luiz

Alonso

Jorginho

James(if he is not allowed Kovacic)

Barkley

Pedro

Higuain

Its real simple at the moment, who starts in this one? After the 1,132 minute marathon tonight, who has legs for this one?

It is not about who you save, there are 17 days before the UEL Final, but more like who is up for it?

I really would like to finish Third, I think that would be a solid comeback after where we were mid February and after getting thumped at the Etihad.

I think some in the XI pick themselves.

Cabellero over Kepa

Cahill in for the injured Christensen

Alonso in for Emerson

Ampadu for Luiz

Zappacosta in for Dave

Barkley for RLC (need him healthy for UEL Final)

Jorginho for himself

Moses for Kovacic

Willian or Pedro (as either only played 60 minutes) for themselves)

Higuaín for Giroud

Willian or Pedro for Hazard

Zola for Sarri, ......……...… oh, wait :biggrin:

Come on you Chelsea!! :bluescalf::bluescalf:

Sarri said last night the team were all very tired and in need of rest. We have two matches before the final, Leicester and a friendly in the States. Why have we arranged a friendly next week, did our board not contemplate us reaching a final we were favourites for?

I'll be pleasantly surprised if we see any youth players involved in this one. Maybe Ampadu if he is fit, but I suspect it will mostly be squad players like Zappacosta getting a chance. Cahill should get a start as this will be his last opportunity in a Chelsea shirt. Supposedly we have committed to putting out a strong team in the friendly against New England on Wednesday (who came up with the crazy idea to schedule this fixture before the season was over?) so I really hope we rest most of the team on Sunday.

I expect to see a team full of reserves and bench warmers....we are on the beach now as far as the League is concerned, result is not important...I expect a loss or a draw..

Is Drinkwater eligible to play ?

Plenty of time for players to rest after this game. I would only make a few changes.

It’s a shame the young loanees aren’t eligible for this one.

heres my team to rest all that have played a lot and or will be crucial for the final.

Would be great to get 3rd but can’t see Sarri putting coming above spuds before any edge he can get for the final, and he has my total support in that.

given above team or similar can’t see a Chelsea win.

Today I complete the checklist. I’ve followed Chelsea over;

Land ?

Sea ?

and Leicester ?

Ha ha, I completed that many years ago but it did feel surprisingly marvellous when the song was sang and I could fully join in....

No doubt Chelsea will be tired but I expect full priority to be given to getting third place. Being the highest placed team in London has its merits.

I shall be there and expect a knackered Chelsea to lose 2.0 but you never know.

Hazard’s last game in the premier league, it’s been a pleasure watching him play.

3rd place and two finals ...bring on next season.

I think we will get a draw and like you hope we play with intent.

Shame Hazard's last match for us won't be at the Bridge.

His last game is barely in Europe let alone Stamford Bridge.:laugh2:
