Charlton fan here.

 

Just thought I would keep you updated on Conor and his development.

 

Been a fantastic start for young Conor, was a bit worried when we 1st signed him if he was ready for Championship football straight away, without a lower league loan 1st, but he has been fantastic.

 

Got a call up to the England under 20 squad today as well

    Another MOM performance from Conor for Charlton on the weekend against the league favourites Leeds. He's getting the type of rave reviews that Reece James got last year for Wigan - the Charlton fans are absolutely loving him.

    I think we have another future star on our hands.

    Sheer class this young guy. Would like to see him get a year in the prem next season - Maybe stick with Charlton if they get promoted (which looks incredibly unlikely atm)

    Just dont want him to join a soul sucking team like Burnley in the prem with Dyke in charge who will never give him a chance. I think Palace could be a great shout as it worked out very well for RLC, and I can see a similar path for Gallagher.

    After a solid season or 2 in the prem, he'll be more than ready to join us straight into the first team.

    Rumours are that he may go out on loan to a Premier League club. However I reckon he would get quite a few opportunities in our first team if he stays around for the second half of the season. I'd love to see that.
