Well whoever plays Citeh in the final they will have some job on their hands to turn them over. I've said before I feel they are the most complete team in Europe at the moment, (if not the world), with one of the best players, if not THE best player in DeBruyne.

What could trip them up? Well injuries to key players of course, but their squad depth is so, so strong it isn't a huge factor. I think maybe the nerves, the expectation, the fact it has been their Holy Grail for so long. That could affect them on the night if things don't go their way early on.

Imagine sacking Tuchel who wins you the league and brought you to the CL final and replacing him with a serial bottler who f**ks up a farmers league and puts out a spineless shambolic team in a semi final and goes out with full disgrace. Paris is sh*t, Leonardo is sh*t and Poch is sh*t.

Real are much more skilled in the dark arts than we are. They have every chance of beating City in the final.

They didn't show that they can beat us first and foremost.

If by dark arts you mean S. Ramos I can already tell you that it's not the name of the game since they need to score against us just like PSG needed to do it against City.

Tuchel will put a false 9 and in that scenario Ramos has no purpose there on the pitch, just remember how Ajax took them out in front of their own fans and the fact that this will be the second big game for Ramos in 2021 doesn't look like he's ready at all, the last game he played was in mid January and they lost to Atletico. I can't see how can anyone give so much respect for S.Ramos in this point in time.

It took what, 6-7 years for Pep to reach the CL finals with City?

We must beat them there is no other way and if we bottle it tomorrow by any reason I don't see Real Madrid beating this Man City team at all, I really wish that if we don't beat them that Hazard beats them but I can't see it.

Actually, Madrid are more ready to beat City than we are. The experience they have in CL finals is unreal, the last European Cup final they lost was in 1981 (they’ve lost three).

Yep, but it was getting on my nerves when the match commentary team were raving about every block he made as though it was the bravest thing ever done by a defender.

JT and Gary "he-won-it-all" Cahill used to do that every week!

I turned off the volume after finding out Jenas was one of the commentators. Safe to say I didn't know about that at all!

JT and Gaz at their prime were brick walls. I agree

Big players step up on the big stage gol.

We can see who is right tomorrow but if it was JT just coming back like that I would have complete confidence in him to play his game and be amazing.

Ramos will do the same, only it wont be brilliance it will be him being a tw*t and likely getting one of our lads sent off. Can see him scoring a goal too.

They also dont need to beat us 1-1 and pens or a higher scoring draw.

Not to mention they are a different animal with Mendy, Ramos and the other lad back on midfield, who may be most key of all.

They have the experience but they don't look like they're ready for another final, they are not as good as a unit as they were, to me they look like their generation has passed its peak.

I think Pep wants Real Madrid to reach the finals, I'm sure that he will be prepared regardless but I don't think he would prefer to face us, for him to win is huge and he has had trouble against us, but to win over Real Madrid well that would be simply the best possible scenario for him I guarantee it.

All part of the Bt w**kfest. Dias is very good, Man City are a very good team, but would be nice if bt could cover games with a bit of perspective. I’ll keep dreaming.

Oh famous last words there Gol. Hopefully Real are what you make them out to be but I think you are in for a shock tomorrow fella.

You have to consider that we have T.Silva that is more ready than S.Ramos and no matter how badly some players want it at the end it comes to the point where you're just not ready for it, you didn't prepare well enough you had no run of games and even if you're all full of confidence you simply didn't set the best possible conditions for you to succeed and that will be seen tomorrow at some point while S.Ramos is playing.

We can make Ramos look like he has no real function if we play with a false 9, as soon as our player comes deep Ramos has no purpose standing there and waiting but you don't need to believe in my words, believe in Tuchel's:"I think that he(S.Ramos) will start, we will prepare for that and we have to make sure that he cannot do it alone."

We just saw Di Maria getting sent off, in my book there is a higher chance that S.Ramos gets sent off after fouling Pulisic than any of our players getting sent off.

Hmm let's see who is right tomorrow Gol. Maybe we are both wrong and nobody gets sent off. However we cannot both be right about Ramos being useless or really good.

Gomez :morning:

That is pretty amazing. Autocorrect switching a players last name for another's lol.

Is that a sign of some sort? Some guy named Gomez will sign for us in the future or something... I hope he's good!

More reminded me of Mario Gomez, Bayerns striker in 2012 who scorer in the shoot out but in the end it did not matter 😉

What a bummer that if I am right we wont get a chance as such glory again...:(

It reminded me of that time when Hazard misspoke a name he said he was on the bench against "Strawberry", he probably went and got a strawberry cake or something after that interview and thus began his famous pre-season skinny-fat on the belly kind of diet :laugh2:

If you want to feel good about your prediction just change it and problem solved  OK we'll see, if I'm wrong and we lose I'll be sad but at least you were right... NOPE better hope you'll be wrong! :dash1:

I am certainly hoping so lol.

Well, that's pretty bad news for us. Man City both reminded us just how good they are (and adaptable this season), and overcame an important hurdle. This is the most cup-appropriate Man City side we have seen under Guardiola, and it is also the furthest Man City have come in the Champions League under him - probably not a coincidence. Regardless of the immediate improvement we've shown, we still have something of a cobbled-together feel, which I suppose makes sense considering Guardiola has been in place since 2016 and Tuchel has been coaching for all of five minutes.

Oh, and we still have the plucky, dodgy matter of Real Madrid to get past...

Gratifying points to cheer us up:

- PSG will continue to be cursed by the 'nearly men' tag. Yet another huge game in which they didn't turn up, then disciplinarily fell apart. They're a pretend team and can f**k off.

- Neymar put in a 'celebrity' performance - looked as interested as making himself look impressive for the highlight videos as he did in trying to win the game for his team.

- Pochettino did poorly, and was in charge of a bottling team in a big game, which we can spuriously connect with Tottenham.

Guardiola needed 5 yrs and unbelievable spending to drag his team into the final. Tuchel has done it (hopefully) two consecutive times while managing us for 10 minutes.

Hope that is not a jynx on us.

If we go out Wednesday, which is a real possibility, we shouldn’t be too down. It’s remarkable Tuchel picked up the mess we were in and got us this close.

Exactly. We‘ve come a long way and it is amazing how quickly Tuchel transformed us. If Tuchel had been here from the start of the season we would be up there contending for the PL title right now. He has had an unbelievable impact on us
