Let's not rewrite history here. Costa tried to leave the club in January for China, in the middle of the season where we were trying to win the title. How Conte handled it with the text was stupid, but Costa was more to blame for that situation. As for Willian, he was just bitching because Conte relegated him to squad player. Pedro was a better player that season and deserved his spot in the first team. Fabregas got the same treatment, but unlike Willian, he was professional about it and didn't act like a petulant child.

The Costa situation I agree that Conte wasn't the main person at fault.

The Willian situation on the other hand, I've had toxic bosses before so if Conte was even half as bad (that season) as what was being reported then I don't in the slightest blame Willian for his reaction.

A lot of people are saying it was good what United fans did yesterday, but I think the opposite. If it was just a protest like Chelsea fans the other day, then I would have backed them, but it wasn't. They broke into the stadium, threw bottles, attacked police, caused criminal damage and forced a game to be postponed. It started as a protest, but it soon turned into football hooliganism.

There has been talk of a points reduction for United. Of course it won't happen, but in cases like this, I think it should. What's to stop them doing the same again in the next home game?

I also thought Carragher and Neville handled it terribly. United fans went way over the top, and Carragher and Neville were sympathetic towards them.

👏👏👏

Spot on Scott, I said similar on the previous page. Is hard to believe anything thinks removing the Glazers merits that kind of behaviour.

Or to put it another way, if that was your dad, or mum, or sibling, or child that got their face slashed doing their job as a cop trying to keep the peace, would you still feel football and removing the glazers are the most important things?

Exactly my thoughts on it Scott!

Also, when the Chelsea fans protested outside Stamford Bridge the European Super League was still going ahead at that point and was in full swing, yet the Chelsea fans didn’t resort to breaking into the stadium or causing criminal damage etc...

All this “the fans have had enough” that Carragher and Neville was spouting yesterday has no justification for yesterday’s events.

Yet you can bet had we acted that way would be "Chelsea hooligans" as the headline and rightly so it would. Neville and carragher are a disgrace and how sky can allow them to publish such views that encourage behavior like that is shameful.

I actively got angry about Neville being a sanctimonious arse on Sky.

He was going on about the 'sanctity of the Footballing Pyramid'. Yeah, Neville, the one you took a dump on when you bought Salford and pumped unsustainable amounts of money into so they'd keep getting promoted. How about his business partner, Peter Lim and what he's doing to Valencia?

Then there were the optics of all these players decrying "foreign owners". So much for Kick it Out....

Carragher was sh*tting himself. Neville is just a c**t who's loving the limelight his original rant got him so he's carrying it on.

Burnley in the lead v West Ham.

Perhaps it's Tottenham we will have to worry about in the race for 4th? Five points behind but have a favorable run-in compared to ours.

Why because they thumped a poor Sheff united team? 5 point lead with 12 to play for. I like our chances, Liverpool are the concern.

That's quickly changed! Must admit that West Ham are playing well.

G Nev also said that United and Liverpool should be acting like the “grandfathers of English football”. It’s so patronising for the other clubs in the England league.

Regarding United, it is good to see fans coming together and speaking their mind collectively. Looking at the Glazers objectively, I can see why the United fans are fuming about the Glazers. Compared to City and Chelsea, the Glazers are only there to make money.

United fans tend to pick and choose when they hate the Glazers though. I don't remember hearing a grumble when they had Ronaldo and won 3 league titles in a row and a Champions League. Now that things haven't been going as well in recent years, the Glazers are a problem again.

Annoying that West Ham won as it potentially means that if we lose to City and they win, we will be level on points again.

Hard to see us winning at City with them winning the title if they beat us.

Extra day makes a difference. Regardless of what happens in our game on wednesday we will be more tired than them, and it was because of that Pep heavy rotated for the cup semi and unbalanced his side.

This time around the Tuesday advatange is with them.

West Ham depend a lot on Antonio, he scored a brace yesterday and was in the right place at the right time.

He was injured recently and seems injury prone.

Burnley had a go and I thought Vydra should have put them 2-0 up yet not to be.

I think Mourinho has realized that he needs to take a step back from the big clubs with big ambitions. Roma is a good opportunity for him - a decent club with not very high ambitions. If he gets them into the top 4 next season, that would be termed as a success.
