Back the protest but why did so many have to act like idiots and take it too far?
the chelsea fans who went down to the bridge made a huge impact but didn’t kick off at anybody and undermine the whole thing.
mind you, what the hell were Utd and local police playing at? Knew it was coming for days and yet seemed woefully underprepared.

Because it was announced the whole thing was scrapped if it hadn't the game would have been called off the Chelsea fans were going no where. As it got later it would have kicked off it always does at any protest either by the protestors or the police Clapham Common was proof of that where police dragged away mainly middle class yummy mummy's.

I have no idea how to fill this free time now 🤔

I was also really looking forward to this game.  Watched some old youtube highlights for a couple hours.  Now sitting here hoping for the blades to somehow hang on, but Bale's just scored as I type 😞

That game is done sadly. When the blades dont score first them lose this season.

Juve losing to Udinese right now, if it stays like that they will be 5th in the europa league spots and if Lazio wins there match in hand they will be 6th !

The top of the Premier League, La Liga and Serie A is very interesting right now. In the Premier League, the race for the top 4 is really tight, same goes for Serie A and La Liga have 4 teams all with a great chance of winning the league.

Meanwhile good to see Conte win another title. Let’s hope he doesn’t lose the plot over the summer like he did the last time he won a league.

The club lost the plot first though with that summer that's going to go down in history as the biggest waste of money in record.

Congrats to Antonio Conte. One of the absolute best managers in the world.

Bale has a hat trick now.  Can only imagine what kind of season he would have had without Jose constantly badgering him.  By the way they look today with the new manager bounce, I can see them winning their last 4 to end up on 68 points.  I'm afraid we need to win 3 of the next 4 😞

Ronaldo single-handedly saved Juventus there. He really is the best European ever to play the game, can't believe he is still doing it at 36...

No arguments with me on that.  Just watched the highlights - what a great late header!

£140m on Morata, Baka and Drinkwater. *shudders*

I've been watching watching the whole Man Utd 'fans' thing today.

As much as all fans have a right to protest about things they are unhappy with, especially with the recent ESL debacle,  I feel Sky (Neville & Carragher in particular) was down playing what those idiots done today.

Although to be fair Souness wasn't down playing it.

I honestly feel if Chelsea fans had done similar and caused a football match to be postponed the narrative would have been much more negative.

I just couldn't see Neville & Carragher defending us in the same way with the same passion.

Don’t give Conte a hall pass. Both deserve blame for how things fell apart. Remember a lot of the players, as per, got pissed off with him.
And Conte was spitting the dummy out cos chelsea didn’t sign players such as wage drain alexis Sanchez and ageing llorente.

thing is it felt like he gave up in the second season, sulked and that was to the detriment of the team.
really rate him but was disappointed how he spat the dummy out ALL season.

and his past shows he does it regularly.

But anyway, I’m genuinely pleased he’s broken the boring stranglehold of Juventus. Just hope he has learnt once and for all.

Come on guys, this protest is a good thing. People like the Glazers need to get the f*ck out.

I agree with your sentiment and understand why United fans are determined to out the glazers.

With that said protesting is one thing, what they did though was criminal and inexcusable, despite those worms Neville and Keane carrying ther own agenda.

They committed breaking and entering twice, trapped both teams in their hotels, committed criminal damage and assaulted police officers. One officer has a significant slash across his face.

So is that ok @dansubrosa, cause getting the glazers out means assult and other criminal acts are ok?

Had some sort of tiff with Costa and canned him via text after Diego won him the title with a league best 20 goals.  I think the majority of the squad felt the same about him by the end as Willian did when he photoshopped the FA Cup team victory photo.

That text was foolish but Costa wanted out anyway, everyone knew that and he just used it to get the deal back to Atletico done.

It's only a good thing if they go the whole way. The Glazers will accept United's current season for the next 10 years (as it keeps the CL money rolling in) so if fans brag about finishing distant 2nd or try to pass it of as progress they're for all intents and purposes backing the owners.

Similar with Arsenal fans, Kroenke protests are all well and good but if they then go and back the likes of Arteta, Xhaka and Bellerin (who are only there due to the clubs lack of ambition) they're giving the owners their seal of approval in all but admission.

If they really want to make a stand they need to go a lot further than this. Don't buy tickets and merchandise and don't back their symptoms.

Let's not rewrite history here. Costa tried to leave the club in January for China, in the middle of the season where we were trying to win the title. How Conte handled it with the text was stupid, but Costa was more to blame for that situation. As for Willian, he was just bitching because Conte relegated him to squad player. Pedro was a better player that season and deserved his spot in the first team. Fabregas got the same treatment, but unlike Willian, he was professional about it and didn't act like a petulant child.

How do you fail to win Seria A when you have Ronaldo? Won Pirlo epic fail...

Because even though Ronaldo can score a lot of goals, his age is restricting him and the team in other areas. It's the same with Messi and Barcelona. They don't have the legs to do it for 90+ minutes anymore, they can't contribute off the ball as much as they used to because they need to conserve energy, and that hurts the team.
