By all reports Luiz Diaz had a really good league debut for Pool. Is quite sickening how they keep buying forwards that end up being either really good or great for them while we spend heavily on dud after dud.

I notice Diogo Jota has scored a few while AFCON was on.

He was one of those attackers I was wondering about when he played at Wolves and thinking whether he could be the answer to our striker situation.

I liked it he was a player that linkedup well and worked hard.

At Wolves Apps 67 goals 16

At Liverpool Apps 41 goals 21

At Liverpool that's a goal every other match.

Whether you believe it is down to the manager knowing how to use his attackers or the club being able to bring in actually talented and determined attackers one thing is for sure, they have the right mixture there.
