Lille will be a hard team. Any team at this stage will be extremely hard. Like mentioned above..the only game we really struggled with last year was Porto in both legs, and arguably they were the better team.

We need to approach this the Tuchel way, one game at a time..do everything we can to squeeze through..then we can think about the future. But atleast the draw was as favourable as can be.

In many ways I hope it does, UEFA playing the victim over this (and football fans facilitating it) while they slyly made the UCL a step closer to bring a super league itself (two teams who don't qualify through league position still getting in) didn't sit that well with me.

I figured I was the only one with links to Lille on here! My family are from there, so it's always bittersweet when it's Chelsea v Lille, but at least if there's an upset and they win then I won't be quite as sad...maybe. 😅

Striker and goalie both downgraded IIRC.

 

David is playing well and R.Sanchez is looking for a move away. 

 

They won't be a pushover, but no excuses if we don't go through, we should have enough.
