Man City buckled more quickly than I expected.

I miss us being like this. That no matter how sh*t we were playing, or no matter how much better than us the opposition were, we were enough of a pain in the arse, we were clever enough, or we would sh*thouse enough, that you could never be particularly confident of beating us.

I have no idea why we ever gave that up. We were like Atlético on [financial] steroids. It drains the soul having to beat a team like that. A sure sense that you were destined to win mattered not at all when you were drawn against f**king Chelsea.
