Even if due diligence was done you can still get another injury or worsen the previous one without really making a rash decision or a wrong one.

You can but the moneys on a pre existing condition.

Yeah, he's definitely getting injured on purpose so he can steal a living.....

Give it a rest, I know it's not his fault.

It's just frustrating that we've got so many good players in the team who can't stay fit, hard to make any progress with that. He's only played one game since he came here, and that'll likely be the only game he will play this season.

Give it a rest claiming someone is "stealing a living" then. How about a bit of sympathy or empathy for a young player going through a terrible time with injuries.

Okay.

I'm sorry Lavia if you're reading this, I'm very sorry if this hurt your feelings. I wish you all the best x

Is that better?

Wind it in man, there's absolutely no need for being a dick about this, you claimed he's stealing a living when he absolutely isn't.

It's a forum, people say sh*te on here all the time, some more than others (like me). No need to be hung up on every little thing someone says, I quite clearly said I know it's not his fault, it's an expression, I doubt he's reading this so it'll be all hunky dory.

After all the bollocks I've talked on here I'm surprised you're still taking me this seriously.

OK, well leave it that, I didn't mean to jump on your post. I just find it really distasteful the abuse players get, especially young lads, when they've done nothing wrong other than to be unlucky with injuries. Seeing even Reece James get sh*t on when it's obvious to anyone how much this all effects him, how distraught he is every time he gets injured.

There have been (and possibly still are) players deserving crap for a lack of effort at times, and they're fair game.

Fair enough, I get what you're saying.

I don't think players are immune from criticism but there's a line, I thought Mason Mount for example got way too much abuse. Not so much on this forum, on Twitter it was ridiculous and I don't condone that.

The sentiment I completely get where you're coming from.

Well funnily enough he'd only had 1 injury in his career until he moved here. This medical team needs to be investigated.

He’d played one season before we wasted £60m on him in which he missed 10 games through injury and injured again when we signed him lmao let’s not pretend he was some pinnacle of health that had 600+ games to his record before us.

Has anyone actually come out and said what’s wrong with him ?

Most recent report states it’s a quadricep injury. Had a similar injury playing HS footy and that didn’t heal properly for months.

Hmm back in the day I remember Triple H tore his quad off the bone. Interest rehab got him back in 7 months.

I wonder how bad Lavias is? It was one of his first training sessions coming off a calf injury (I think) that he suffered this upper leg muscle issue that still troubles him.

He will also have been on a sh*tload of illegal steroids and crap.

Let's hope Romeo has not torn his quad then otherwise that 7 months will be half the time he needs.

Like I said before I reckon he is done for the season.

Still I believe he speaks French so Wes Fofana has company.

Mine was just a sprain and it took me out for 2 months.

I know it's your thing but for the love of God can you give over on the doom and gloom for at least one day. Your glass isn't half empty, its been threw at a wall and smashed into a million pieces.

I think you're being overly harsh on him to be honest. It's not as if we signed some chronically injured player either.

The fault lies squarely at the feet of the Chuckle Brothers - aka Stewart and Winstanley. Useless bastards.

In what way is a young player getting unfortunately injured their fault?
