Not sure on this however so articles are talking about national morning period of 10 days which could see sporting events postponed.

If that is the case is not clear if Uefa would accept a postponement or not, they may award Salzburg the win, whereas the PL will have to rearrange games given everyone would be in the same boat.

I’m not particularly no, but not naive enough to think that something as significant as a head of state dying won’t have a knock on effect on sport for at least a week or two.

I imagine the PL games will be called off for 10 days so this week and next week. CL games will surely need to continue give its across Europe.

If a 10 day period of national mourning is declared then I cannot see them making an exception for European games. Either there is a date to rearrange the Salzburg game, or we forfit and they get awarded a 0-3. Like Spurs had to last season with one of their European games and covid cases.

Not confirmed either way yet. Uefa will need to be approached about it and as the PL games start on Saturday they had to be sorted first.
