Probably nothing but Flick was allegedly seen speaking with board members at the Bridge.

I wouldn't be surprised if they are lining up other options. They may claim to be playing the long game but they will be putting the investment first and foremost I'm sure. In fact given the approach taken to recruiting players we will probably end up being the first club to hire multiple managers 😉

Didn't do great with Germany but his Bayern team were extremely good, even by Bayern standards. Would be a huge upgrade, though I'm not sure he's as good as Tuchel in terms of making average players look like world beaters.

A new manager is better than any player we've signed or potentially could sign under Todd's ownership.

Would be a lot cheaper too.

Speaking of Germans, the Dortmund tie should decide Potter's fate if we're getting knocked out by them.

My point is I watch most of their matches and they are an entertaining side, but suspect at the back and that's me putting it nicely. Every match I watch, no matter the opposition, they are a mess at the back and every average club with the worst of players create tons of chances against them.

If we don't score at least four or five across the two matches against Dortmund, or even worse we get knocked out by that team, then times up for him I am afraid.

His Football is so, so boring. It is such a chore to watch us. It should not be like that. He has even managed to make Mudryk look sh*t in two games. How many will he need to make Enzo look a downgrade on Jorginho?

Jorgi is going to look like a baller for Arsenal, mark my words

Well if anyone had any doubts we won't make top 4 despite our obscene spending, tonight should have assured them we won't.

I would not be surprised if we score less than 37 goals in the league.

That would be shocking and sackable unfortunately even though I don’t want him gone but that’s just unacceptable

Part of me believes we are already talking to Flick on a potential move. Think they are slowly but surely losing faith.

We really need our CMs back. Kante, Kovacic, and Zakaria.

Does anyone on here believe he is going to produce entertaining football for us?

Am not even asking for winning football anymore, just some entertaining football and not be bored sh*tless watching us almost every single minute of every single game.

Bit too Lampardey atm. Big disconnect between midfield and attack.

Felix back. Hopefully Kovacic or Zakaria too.
Need to start seeing better. I’d start playing Fofana now.

We have to because Kai up top has to stop.

Bayern under Flick was one of the greatest teams I have ever seen. Total football, truly a juggernaut. The current shape of squad seems to fit Flick's philosophy, too. I remember he played a high line in a 4231, with Kimmich and Goretzka in the double pivot, constant pressing and direct, pacey attackers. Terrific on the counter, too. Probably one of the most enjoyable sides to watch for the past decades, what football should look like.

But his time at the Germany NT is underwhelming so far and people criticised him a lot for his selections and constant moaning and choice of lineups.

But I would not read too much into this you know. I think I saw something on this the other day saying Flick and his staff will do a massive scouting job in this period and attend lots of matches involving German players, especially the ones they think that have the potential to rebuild the NT around. Could look at Havertz being one of those, who knows!?

2013 Bayern was better player for player, but the 2020 side was so, so efficient.

It's probably nothing but I genuinely wouldn't be surprised if Boehly is already asking him how he likes our project.

Since Glenn Hoddle I don't think any Chelsea manager has produce such constantly boring football as Potter. We have had worse managers arguably but nothing this turgid so constantly.

Have we?

I've been a supporter for 28 years so just caught Hoddle who was in charge when I really started following the club.

Potter is comfortably the worst Chelsea manager in that time. the worst results, the worst demeanour,  the worst style of play and the worst resume excluding managers just starting their careers.

There's absolutely nothing positive to take from Potter being here which is why when people defend him they can only pretend he's going to be like one of the few managers who turned it around rather than focusing on signs of what Potter is actually doing here.

Just talking to fellow supporters around London the only manager I can recall us having who was so disliked and uninspiring was the Fat Spanish interim and that was because of comments he had made about the club he was obviously a much better manager than Potter.

Yeah, poor results would be fine if the football was at least good to watch and there was clearly a process. But Potter has the lowest PPG of any Chelsea manager in the past 20 years, and the football is awful with no sign of improvement. He's had plenty of time to coach the team now.

Even in his best season with Brighton they were one of the lowest scoring teams in the league, and that was after 3 years of him being in charge. That's his brand of football.

Lampard is clearly a poor coach given what happened at Everton, but we looked better under him than we do under Potter. 1.5ppg in Lampard's second season vs 1.25ppg for Potter.

Not a chance.

And I said at the beginning of the window, giving Pecan Potter 300m+ to spend in the winter window is absolutely dumb.

This man is not worthy of that responsibility and it will blow up in his face.

Under Potter in Jan we spent more than all of La Liga, Bundesliga and Serie A COMBINED.

And can't get a fookin goal vs Fulham.

LMFAO!! Just needs more time, eh!?!?
