if Felix isn't in the CL squad I'd be absolutely shocked. It would be a huge waste of money to sign someone just to help us get from 10th to 6th in the league.

I forgot about David Fofana not surprising the amount of players we've signed keeping Felix over him is an obvious choice. The lesser spotted Wesley Fofana instead of Badiashile who I think was unlucky not to make the cut on recent outings.

so bad that he scored two goals against AC milan? short memories people have

Yes.

Leaving Aubameyang out of our Champions' League squad in favour of Marcus Bettinelli shows that Potter is capable of the petty hilarity required of any Chelsea manager. Any talk or risk of the sack should evaporate immediately.

He should go full José: call Arteta a 'hairpiece' and endlessly reiterate completely invented injustices and advantages he pretends are in their favour. Maybe even refer to us as the 'little horse' and claim that our players are too young to be serious competitors for major trophies.

What is Potter supposed to do really? His existing squad are idiots, crocks and Thiago Silva; now he has to incorporate a bunch of random kids!

It makes sense to include those three in the CL squad.

Badiashile is a top prospect, but Koulibaly is a proven defender and to be fair there is no difference between a back four with Badiashile in and a back four with Koulibaly in to replace him as long as the team clicks. If the team is on a high, I feel Koulibaly gets to that level, too and puts a solid performance everytime he is called to do the job.

On the other hand there is a big difference between an attacking line with Joao Felix in and an attacking line w/o him and it makes total sense to have him in the squad.

Hmm. All these resources at my disposal.

I'm so lucky I'm English. The support has been amazing, no iota of ire or criticism my way yet.

Long may it continue before they notice and fairly replace me.

As I was saying to a mate before kickoff I can't get excited about signings like Enzo and Mudryk even though they're fantastic talents that are huge upgrades on what we have because I honestly don't think the players matter.

They're not Messi, Mbappe or Neymar and I don't think Potter could have PSG in a title race so why would I expect results here?

Great players for the next manager who will hopefully have a good pre season so we can do something next year but no team will ever consistently score goals or win games with Potter at the helm.  His career shows that.

I will just save my breath and hope Todd Bohley will sack a manager that is clearly not good enough at the end of the season

I know there is no chance he will sack him now because of all the signings, but if Bohley doesnt want to be a laughingstock again next season, he needs to sack a manager that after spending 300m in the January transfer window and still end up finish below mid table. If you spend 600m and you finish below 10th, there is no excuse. End of

how can you sack an amazing proven coach like Tuchel (avg 2,1 points per game at Chelsea, 2,3p at PSG, 2,1 at Dortmund, back to back CL final with two different teams) for a mediocre core coach like Potter (1,5 points per game at Chelsea and never ever reached >1,7 p avg in his career) is beyond me. The Americans do not understand in football it is all about the right coach and strategy and not about buying some fancy expensive talents. They should sell the club to somebody who knows what they are doing.

Anybody knows what the game plan was ???

Could anyone see what we were trying to do?

Think Potter just wanted a low scoring draw against a top half team.

Still think he's a bit puzzled he isn't getting praised for results like this like he was last season.

I would like to know why Mudryk came off. If he picked up a knock, then fair enough, but if it was a tactical change, I didn't like it.

Mudryk may not have been very invovled in the first half, but it was clear to see that Fulham had suffocated that left hand side by putting an extra player there. There was a reason why our right hand side had so much space, it was because Fulham put that extra man on the left. The problem for us and the bonus for Fulham was that Ziyech was on the right. With his lack of pace it allowed their more energetic players to get across to him quicker than he could move forward and be a danger man.

Instead of taking Mudryk off, he should have taken Ziyech off for Madueke, a move which would have forced Fulham to take that extra man away from the left and give that side a bit more space.

Potter's changes killed the 2nd half in my opinion. He brings Madueke on for the wrong player, then brings Sterling on, moves Madueke to the other side, something that I think ruined his flow, but also brings Azpilicueta on which kills our attack because we have no support from the full backs.

Potter's tactical changes have been consistently sh*t so far. He more often than not makes things worse.

Getting rid of Jorginho the crab. Elbowing old man Aubameyang into the shadows. Loving it. Better than a big bowl of Ferrero Rocher at the ambassador's ball. The 'project' rolls forward.

Walking in a Potter Wonderland.
