I assume he’s still learning the Maresca way (god help him). KDH getting minutes when every man and his dog knows he’s not got a future at Chelsea. If it was Mourinho you could argue he’s testing him mentally, with Maresca you just know he’s under strict orders. Boring.

Dont have any issue with KDH. probably one of the better signings this lot have made since arriving. just a shame we had to let better players leave to make way for him, not his fault and has hardly put a foot wrong on the pitch when asked to play. Solid professional imo.

But is he worth giving minutes to over Santos? I have no issue with KDH, but this is professional sports and you have to prioritise the potential.

TBH, the season is over for Santos who had an excellent ligue 1 campaign and is back with us for next season. Looking forward to it.

Chelsea's season hasnt finished, will do after CWC. Not bothered in other words who plays in it as its a properly sh*t competition and will cause a number of injuries to our playes next season.

Santos will force Enzo Fernandez out the side if he plays as he has in France. I like Enzo, but watching him makes me think why im glad Messi never moved to the Premierhsip.

Tbf you could say we already have when we prioritized Santos continuing to play for Strasbourg amidst our CM crises last January. Would've been so easy for us to recall him.

Like you said, given the $$$ on offer Maresca is probably instructed to play his strongest side, and or players that know his system.

According to TEAMtalk, Milan are seriously thinking about making a move to bring the 21-year-old in on loan.

The outlet claims that Chelsea would actually be willing to sell Santos for around £43m but Milan want a more affordable loan deal.

Sorry, the only thing silly is the notion Messi wouldn’t hack it in the Prem.

Only Harry Kane and Vardy at the time were ahead of Messi in goals against the Top 6 despite never playing in the Premier League. I am assuming you never watched La Liga during the 2008-12 period as the only way teams could stop Messi was to kick the sh*t out of him. Also assuming you ignored Mourinho/Pep classicos given Ramos and Pepe’s only jobs were to assault Messi, and they still couldn’t stop him. Ramos nearly chopped Messi’s leg off and the man just walked it off.

Well Messi had spent most of the first half making Del Horno look like Mr. Bean on ice. And that was the only way he could deal with him.

Messi in his prime was so good most of the EPL defenders wouldn't have been able to get close enough to spit on him, let alone tackle him. Messi would have been Messi in any league in the World.

Also Delap knows how Maresca plays which explains why he has featured.

It’s why I tend to stay away from the in game threads on this forum.

5 minutes into a match and if we aren’t ahead there are more than a few tearing the performance apart.
