This would finally lay bare the true objective of these w*nker owners. Buy this kid on the basis that he is a generational talent that we are going to build our long term future around. Then give him virtually no minutes ever in a Chelsea shirt, farm him out on loan, until you can sell him for a profit to one of our direct rivals.

This happens, then just remember that all the bullsh*t briefings about these great talents developing here are complete lies and this is, indeed, just a puppy farm. So Estevao, Paez, Anselmino, Quenda, Essugo, any of the others, not Chelsea, will never play for us. They are assets on the CFC LDN commodity exchange.

Why are you surprised by this possibility? Actually to anyone that would be surprised by this happening, why would you be?

Say what you want about it, and I did not rate him that high, but Kai Havertz was one of our top players, still fairly young, and a CL winner.

When our then rivals Arsenal offered us enough cash we sold him to them.

Or Did you all also forget about Mason Mount?

If Liverpool offered us 120mill for Palmer I reckon these owners take it or make a deal for alittle more.

Same with City and Caicedo and Arsenal with Santos.

Any player, To any team, for the right price.

Selling Santos before he even had a chance would show the intent of the owners. Would just kill the connection with the club. Hopefully just paper talk - bet he wants a new contract!

I don't think there's any real danger of us actually selling him unless we get a truly outrageous figure.

Aye we were. However our feelings on the matter had nothing to do with it. Owners got an offer they were happy with from a rival and sold him.

We probably will be less happy about it if he wins the CL again with them, he has already said how "much more" that would mean.

I think the biggest reason why we are so much better when Lavia is on the pitch is that both he and Caicedo are press resistant. Santos is the same way where he can half turn and dribble in transition rather easily.

Santos Lavia Caicedo is a stupidly solid midfield, would need Palmer to go back out wide which won't happen. Or Caicedo RB shift FFS.

it is a squad game, if we can bring Santos into our squad, maybe we will not need KDH next season. I know we will all feel the loss of loaning out KDH. Maybe Arsenal will want him instead of Santos?
