I believe reading that Maresca think Santos is more of attacking midfielder closer to enzo than to Caicedo

I actually think it’s only a matter of time till Santos becomes first choice. I very very much doubt that Fernandez will want to stay around.

Far from my favourite player so I have to be objective but I don’t see any improvement of note in him

I`ve not generally got a problem with Enzo, he puts in full effort each game, he has a passion on the pitch and defends his players, he genuinely seems to like being at Chelsea.

He`s also being misused by Marseca (a common theme) as he absolutely cannot play in a midfield 2. He needs to push forward with a 2 behind him, which we can do yet Maresca chooses not to. He wants him to paly as a some kind of QB midfielder, but he hasnt got the passing range, he also doesnt have the defensive positional understanding to play that role, we are so wide open up the middle its laughable.

So he has to be in the 10 role, or a link between midfield and the attack, its where he has played well, though again I dont think he definitely should be a guaranteed starter there.

What Maresca has to do (before our season is once again blown out) is stop playing him where he does, stop moving other players around to accommodate him. Hes not helping the team, and hes not helping Enzo by shoving him there.,

Maresca goes, Howe comes in and utilises Enzo with 2 behind him and he becomes what we know he can.

I wonder who his agent is. Class if its true as I normally assume agents want their players to make all these moves so they can become filthy rich off the back of it.

Being brutally honest if I were his agent I would be all for that move. Don't they get 10% of the transfer fee, or something like that? And a percentage of the salary too. Honestly the money involved is truly staggering considering these agents normally represent a number of players.

Are you saying the people in charge of these Saudi clubs have access to money but aren't educated? That is a hell of a sweeping statement.

I wouldn't say the Saudi clubs are run by people any less educated than those running PL clubs. The Saudi league is more than a Dick swinging contest, its a concerted effort to uses sports to improve Saudi Arabia's international image and soften perceptions of controversial policies.

Roman Abramovitch's purchase of Chelsea and the subsequent spending spree is a far better example of Dick Swinging in my opinion. And it was bloody marvellous.
