I am afraid Potter will park the bus from minute one in Madrid which would be our demise.

against dortmund we were attack a lot

its important at least win against villa to give us boost

Real Madrid lost tonight against Barcelona, who had 17 shots on goal (encouraging !)

Bayern also lost today, and have now been displaced as Bundesliga leaders by .... Dortmund ... LOL

I really do think both these teams in our half of the draw are beatable, even by Potter 🙂 . City are the ones that worry me though ...

On the downside, Madrid will be able rest players just like us heading into the tie. Of course they are beatable, but it will take something exordinary on both sides to make it happen.

they have a game against barça in copa del rey days before the game

On the other hand City won their last 2 games combined 13-0 and Halland scored 6 goals over both games.

So by this logic Bayern are getting thrashed lol.

It's a big CL knock out game, Pep will do his annual crazy act and handicap his team, he may even find another way to lose the tie 😄

if Liverpool were demolished at home in the 1st leg 5:2 just imagine us at Bernabeu on the 12th of April

painfull reality check yesterday

Why do so many act like two situations are the same?

Allardyce, Pardew, Dalglish, McLeish, Warnock, Dean Smith and Hodgson have all beat us in UCL winning season's.

That's not a good thing for us, two games against Barca shortly before their match sharpness will be through the roof.

I've been reading real forum and they think their team has been sh*t

benzema not the same of last year

left and right back a disaster

rodrygo stagnated

kroos and modric can't play together, etc

well, lets take advantage of this

If Kanté returns, I believe we have a proper chance

Haaland at left wing-back aka the Sterling role!

I think we'll beat Real and Ancelotti will sadly get the sack, only for us to exit at the Semi level. As much as our play has improved I just don't think Potter has it to win big games.

In saying that, many people said the same about Tuchel and Klopp before him...

They've won 5 Champions Leagues together and Real fans think this is the problem?

Real messed up big time by letting Casemiro go, thinking energetic grafters like Valverde and Tchouameni could hold the fort while Kroos plays as a deep-lying playmaker. Tchouameni and Camavinga may well be suitable replacements for the younger versions of Kroos and Modric, but trying to replace Casemiro with Valverde is like replacing Makelele with Ramires.

Kroos mentioned in one interview that with tchouameni he need to defend more as tcou want to go forward whereas casemiro always stay behind.

well only city and napoli are in a good form

chelsea, real, inter and milan are in a bad form but in this competition dont mean anything

Inter & AC Milan are a mess, form or no form, very lucky to be getting the extra UCL money for getting this far.

And despite all that they still put 5 past Liverpool at Anfield.

They are just pissy because Barca are ahead of them.

We have a chance, but Real are still a class act with a top manager.

They have a shot at the final, they would have been screwed on this side of the draw. Now they have a shot at losing the final to City.

Benfica look a lot better than Inter and Napoli are an unstoppable force, it would take an absolute miracle of biblical proportions if Milan got passed them.

Their is an air of inevitability about City, it’s gonna happen eventually. Hopefully when it does Pep leaves on a high and we get to see them go through a little transition / FFP repercussions, KDB and a few others aren’t getting any younger.

Really like the optimism here, Real may been sh1t in domestic league, but they did put 5 past Liverpool and Anfield, and didn't raise much of a sweat in the return leg.  Last time we played Liverool, couldn't score a goal despite them missing their best defender. I reckon the tie will be close, can't see us do a 5:2 on them in the first leg😅

It should be a Benfica vs Napoli semi final, just like it should be a City vs Real semi final.

Bayern were also supposed to best us in 2012, as we're City in 2021.

Could well be the surprise is on the other side of the draw and we get the Milan Derby in the semi.

Exactly what I think. Overconfidence and enthusiasm is one thing but we got to understand that we never had such a dumb f**k manager ever since Roman took over along with dumbf**k owners.

Sorry just waiting for my anget to vent. Where have they taken out beloved Chelsea?

The last 8 in Europe, a few of our dumbf**k fans would be happy for us to get knocked out.

We’ll play Bayern and will be knocked out by Tuchel. It’s written in the stars.
