Champions League Quarter-Final Draw

It's a tough draw, but I think if you want to go deep in the CL you can't just cross your fingers and hope for easy match-ups.

James is (mostly) fit, Chilwell is fit and playing great football, Kante is coming back, Enzo is imposing himself more and more each game, KK settling, Fofana has hit the ground running on his return.

We'll be the underdogs, but that hasn't stopped us before. If everyone turns up we can take down anyone.

...and we can always count on pulisic....

Quarters: 1v0 aggregate win against real. 90th min own goal from Agent Eden.

Semi: Tight game - with Agent Musiala missing the decisive penalty to send chelsea to the final.

Final: Lukaku, through 1 on 1 has a moment of reflection, and realises he really does love chelsea, and doesn't want to score the goal that takes the UCL from us. As he lines up to clear the ball into row Z for a goal kick, he stumbles, trips, and as he is falling, gets his big sweaty head into the ball that knocks it past Kepa, who can only watch as it trickles into the net - scoring, inadvertently , what proves to be the decisive goal.

it is written in the stars.....

Benzema does not have a serious injury. He will be fit to face us.

I don't want city winning the CL so hoping Bayern knock them out.

If we do face City in the semis, we have to pray that they are still in the title race as it will be easier for us to rest players having nothing to play for in the league.

there any player at real that will miss the first game because of yellow card?

Fun fact: If we extend the draw to the last 16 we get the following two paths to the final:

Path A:
Real Madrid,
Liverpool,
PSG,
Bayern,
Chelsea,
Dortmund,
City,
Leipzig

Path B:
Napoli,
Frankfurt,
spurs,
Milan,
Inter,
Porto,
Benfica,
Brugge

Champions League is Champions League. Manager is only an ornament at this point 🤣

the problem with this is, we're facing champions league royalty in Real Madrid and possibly Bayern🤣

Suddenly lots of optimism with Potter's abilities to get us thru !

😀😀😀

Well, RM three years on the spin. Beat them the first year fair and square. Should have beat them the second year but lost our heads at the end.

That's the bar for Potter then.

In reality Militao, Rudiger, Alaba, Camavinga, Tchoumeni, Modric, Benzema, Valverde, Vinicius Jr. Every one probably gets in our starting eleven.

There's uphill challenges and then there is this..............
