Ship has sailed. A competitive AC Milan won't sell their best players.

Any Italian side will sell for the right price. Little money in Italian football.

I think it's obvious we need a good clearout

Goalkeepers: Keep, not fussed on either but it's not the worst in the world, I think we can prioritise a GK another time

Defence: Azpi, Koulibaly, Sarr

I would keep Cucurella and give him another chance next season, I think there could be a player in there. Chalobah I wouldn't actually mind selling if we can get a good offer. Same with Ampadu, could be a good player there but I think we have better. I'm praying and hoping we keep Silva for another year.

Midfield: Gallagher, RLC, Zakaria, Bakayoko

We need an upgrade on Zakaria as Kante isn't fit enough, Gallagher isn't good enough, RLC it's time to move on. If we could get a good offer for Kovacic I wouldn't mind but he does offer a lot of experience and when he's not in sh*t form he's a handy player to have.

Attack: Ziyech, Pulisic, Havertz, Felix, Aubameyang, Hudson-Odoi, Lukaku

Big clearout needed here, first three have had their time and seriously need to be moved on, no more managerial restarts for their careers. Auba was a silly signing, and Felix is a luxury player who is just not worth the money. Sterling, again I wouldn't mind letting him go for a good offer, but that's not going to happen, I'm willing to see how he does next season as he's still got a lot to prove. Mason Mount is likely on his way out, I honestly wouldn't mind too much if we could sell him for a good price, but I would like him to stay here as he's a good squad player. Lukaku is a menace, I don't want him back into the side at all, if he needs to be loaned out to comply with FFP, then allow it. CHO needs to be moved on, he's had his chance to prove something on his loan and he hasn't, time to shift him on.

I think it's obvious this squad needs an overhaul and we need to start shifting deadwood. We've got some good players coming in that we know of, Colwill, Nkunku, Gusto, Santos, and Maatsen. Santos, Maatsen, and Casadei probably need loaning out for another year but who knows.

I think the two big signings we need to make right now outside of Nkunku which looks a done deal, is an ST and a DM, everything else looks fine for next season.

With each game the need for a mass clear out becomes more urgent. How have we assembled such a massive squad and yet currently look one of the worst teams in the PL?

If it is Pochettino who comes in, he has a massive job, going through all the personnel - many out on loan or just not getting much of a look in (Colwill certainly one who MUST return and be involved next season). But starting with the 11 who began last night, the only ones I would be happy to see in a Chelsea shirt next season would be

Silva, Fofana, Chilwell, Kante, Fernandez & Madueke. The other five all need to be shown the exit door.

Think we are going to be in for a rude awakening. At this point in time I think the only nailed on outgoings are Ziyech and Aubameyang (terminates his contact). Don't think there is a market for at least half of the players we want to get rid, and for the other half we will be lucky to even get remotely close to the club's asking price.

Expecting to see a lot of loans.

Cover our FFP losses on various players by making pure profit on the likes of Gallagher, Mount etc.

I wonder who wants to stay, and who would like to leave if possible.

My guesses would be:

Kepa - Stay

Mendy - Leave

Marcus B - Stay.

Gaga Solonia - Stay

James - Stay

Gusto - Stay

Chilwell - Stay

Cucurella - Stay

Silva - Leave

Fofana - Stay

Badiashile - Leave (unless he gets game assurance)

Chalobah - Stay

Colwill - Stay

Enzo - Leave

Kovacic - Leave

Kante - Stay

Gallagher - Stay

RLC - Stay

Zakaria - Stay

Santos - Stay

Ziyech - Leave

Pulisic - Leave

Mudryk - Stay

Sterling - Stay (or Leave if someone else offers him more money)

CHO - Leave

Felix - Happy so long as he leaves Atletico and gets a big pay cheque.

Mount - Stay

Havertz - Leave

Auba - Leave

Lukaku - Leave

DD Fofana - Leave (unless he gets game assurance)

Romano said there isn't any confirmed FFP issues. Just that the squad needs trimming.

All this talk every other day of selling players is the reason why the squad is underperforming and we are losing matches. If I was a player why bother to give my best when i dont know if i will be sold in a weeks time.  This is very unsettling for the players and why care when they are still be paid their huge salaries. Cant all this be left until after the season ends???

The next manager has to be the correct one, we can't afford another bad season. I actually have faith in Pochettino, I think this team would be perfect for him to build something. I don't expect us to be challenging over night, but I do think we will see a better Chelsea eventually.

But we have so many crap to get rid of, I'm not at all confident we get rid of so many players like that, but even if we loan them out it will help. But what we need now more than ever is for the recruitment to just get it right. Because for the life of me I couldn't actually tell you who could be our next affordable striker or DM, sod paying 100 million for Osimhen, it's risky buying expensive strikers from that league. Far too much risk in that for me.

But this is where we need our recruitment team to actually get it right and spend wisely.

Believe me I'm not under any delusion that we sell all the players I've listed, I just think they all need to be put up in the shop window. I do think we'll get a good sale from someone that'll either be Havertz, Mount, or Kovacic somewhere. But besides that, the others will probably be harder to shift and we'll need to start loaning a sh*tload of players out. If that's what it takes then so be it.

Been a big critic of Gallagher but he really does give it his all. Can’t fault him of that.

More consistency and fine tuning his game is a task for Pochettino should the club decide to keep him.

Given what we have been enduring this season sometimes it is nice to be able to point to one player and say "that guy gets it, he always gives his all".

Just imagine how good Lukaku would have been with Conors mindset and personality.

So we are soon to be getting into the "Silly Season" of who we are signing and who we are selling. I am fairly sure that most of us will be pretty similar in who should be shown the exit door, but to create some dialogue/banter, I have listed my own "GET RIDS" below;

Kepa - Keep

Mendy - Get rid

Betinelli - Get rid

Gabriel Slonina - Keep

Azpi Get rid (so sorry 😞)

James - Keep

Gusto - Keep

Chilwell - Keep

Cucurella - Get Rid

Silva - Keep

Fofana - Keep

Badiashile - Keep

Chalobah - Get Rid

Colwill - Keep

I. Maatsen -  Keep

Enzo - Keep

Kovacic - Keep

Kante - Keep

Gallagher - Keep

RLC -  Get Rid

Zakaria - Keep

Santos - Keep

N. Madueke - Keep

Chukwuemeka -  Keep

Casadei - Keep

Ziyech - Get Rid

Pulisic - Get Rid

Mudryk - Keep

Sterling - Get Rid

CHO - Get Rid

Felix - Keep (only if a further loan)

Mount - Keep

Havertz - Get Rid

Auba - Get Rid

Lukaku - Get Rid

DD Fofana - Keep

Broja - Keep

This would give us a (manageable squad) of 24, so if we are going to sign a GK, DM and striker, three more probably need to go from my above "Keeps".  I presume that they might be Zakaria, Kovacic and Gallagher, But I would try and keep Conor if at all possible.

Some other obvious "GET RIDS" that I had completely forgotten about, so haven't included above,  B.Rahman, T.Bakayoko, M.Sarr, E.Ampadu,  This totals an astounding SEVENTEEN to be shed.

Maatsen is an interesting one. Excellent for Burnley, Kompany has developed him. Have to wonder whether Burnley will make an offer.

Contract until 2025 so a decision will inevitably be made.

Think we sell him.

Who has the higher ceiling? Maatsen or Hall? I'm gobsmacked that Hall is still only 18.

Maatsen is more aesthetically pleasing but as we appear to be entering an era of fullbacks having duties in midfield in the build up Hall will be a very valuable commodity to that.

I think the government should buy our unwanted players, they have 4.5 Billion pounds doing nothing at the moment earning some nice interest!!! We could get the chance to pull their pants down like our Club has with some of these players!!

Gallagher, Chalobah, RLC and Maatsen, I can certainly see going. Possibly Mount but for some reason I think not, just yet.

I'm thinking the 30% wage reduction from Todd Lasso might have been a demotivating factor as well

Haven't checked this for a while. Quite telling that only 6 players have 90% or more support. Then there's Mounty on just over 80 - the rest don't even get close (Chalobah on 53 next - tho I have no idea why.) Even Gallagher just hits above 40%. Seems like we really have no faith in this squad. MoPo will have a hell of a job turning this sorry bunch into a fighting force.

So we know we are looking for a keeper, number 6 and number 9.

We are also looking to get rid of 8-10 senior players.

Aubameyang, Ziyech, Ruben Loftus-Cheek are pretty clear outgoings and I feel we can move them pretty easy.

Then comes the next wave. Callum Hudson-Odoi is very interesting. If Pochettino likes him he could stay but I think we should cash in on him. His weak mentality let's his obvious skills down. Mendy and Pulisic are also probably on their way out. Not that easy to move and the American owners could have an angle with Pulisic. We are going to the states in the summer. Better go there with Christian.

Felix and Zakaria will go back to their clubs. If we didn't have Nkunku coming in we would entertain with the idea of signing him. We won't.

Gallagher is someone that will generate interest and Pochettino and sadly Mount's situation will have a say in that. I still believe Mount is still our player come next season. Gallagher is not clear. If we have a shot at Rice and have to scoop out 90m for him we might need to get rid of someone that will hurt.

Midfield in itself is something that will be a new one. Kante, Kovacic and who comes in? Big questions...

Our defensive situation is the only clear thing for me. We have good players there for every position. This includes K2 and Chalobah.

He's been a spectator at BLK. Benched most of this year, more recently an unused sub. His confidence has to be rock bottom. A couple of seasons ago Bayern offered a loan deal with an option to buy for 70m which Chelsea rejected. Of course he might not have worked out at Bayern either. Pochettino will need to see something very special to want to keep him. On the other hand, what is his market value now?
