  1. 1. How many of the below players would you choose to KEEP for next season? I have omitted Silva and Azpi as they are gods..

Play him as a 10 or attacking midfielder and he will shine, he is not a number 9.

In the traditional sense no but his best role is the 'Firmino role' that Tuchel played him in the start. We decided to try him there, got rewarded with a comfortable UCL trophy then punctured both his and our momentum by signing Lukaku and shoehorning Havertz in some half 10 half wide position.

I think if it is Pochettino he is likely to want three players to embed his playing style.

Now Boehly bought a number of new players this season whom may not suit Boehlys Pochettino's playing style together with the supposedly done deal Nkunku.

It will be interest to see how this turns out as someone will need to give way or compromise.

Mendy, Mount, Aubameyang all gone for a start. Lukaku and Ziyech too.

Pulisic if we can get anything for him.

Felix gone too, not worth the fee atleti want, with Nkunku coming in.

Koulibaly I would move on with Colwill coming back in.

Dave and Kante uncertain. Hope Kante signs a new deal. What's the point in keeping Dave of he never plays, and with no Europe even less need.

Havertz, RLC and Gallagher, depends what the new manager wants to do, but I see them as replaceable. Gallagher and Havertz would likely sell for a decent price.

Oh, and sell off some of the loan army that won't make it at Chelsea.

Outgoings will be crucial, incomings should be limited and fix the deficiencies of the team.

With it well publicized that Pochettino wants a Goalkeeper, a CDM and a Striker, I wonder if we can look to the relegation threatened sides to strengthen in those areas.

I will point out we got Gary Cahill from a relegation threatened, and later relegated, Bolton so sometimes the right manager at the right time can spot an opportunity.

Southampton: Lavia

Everton: Pickford, Onana, Calvet-Lewin

Leeds: Meslier

Leicester: Tielemans, Daka/Vardy/Iheanacho

Forrest:  Navas

Now it would be nicer to end up with Miagan, Rice and Kane for Pochettino but our budget may well be limited.

Nice idea, but most of these are duds for me.

Lavia - OK

Pickford - no thanks.

Onana - average player.

Calvert-Lewin - too injury prone

Meslier - one of the worst keepers in the PL ... no idea why we keep getting linked to him !

Tielemans - OK

Daka - nope. We've had too many non-scoring forwards already (he has 9 in 48 PL appearances)

Vardy - too old, plus too much adverse media baggage from his missus

Icheancho - as per Daka (only 30 goals in 147 PL appearances)

Navas - too old

I haven't see anyone mention CHO yet i think he is still one of our loanees and then we have others.

Pochettino assuming he is taking the job is known for bringing a couple of  youngsters through at least at Spurs.

Media sources are saying they have identified our Goalkeeper target, Pochettino first priority signing, as Inter Milans keeper Onana.

Straight swap for Rom who they do even want to pay another loan fee for?

Edit.

Apparently we tried to offer Kepa in exchange according to Italian media, but Inter need cash (surprise surprise) fee said to be 40mill.

Id like to see Zaharia have his loan extended, looked decent to me.

Looked better than Felix and apparently we want to extend his loan.

Pochettino wants a CDM, why not Zakaria @Munkworth?

Onana :shok: ? Red flag! Former Cleaning Solution FC, where he received a doping suspension of (I think) 9 months for taking some banned medication confusing it for someting he was allowed to take, or so he claimed. He also was frozen out of the Cameroon squad at the Qatar world cup, after a difference of opinion with the manager. I remember vaguely some reports from his Cleaning Solution time about him being quite stubborn.

I haven't followed hime at Inter, but to all accounts after an injury during his Dutch years he couldn't get back to his pre-injury level.

Thinking on how it might work with Pochettino assuming money re FFP is going to be tight for a while.

Thinking playing out from the back will go and we will be launching downfield for Lukaku to contest this means likely we will need to win the 2nd ball, with two No. eights Mount and a new chap to win the second ball.

Think Andre Santos will be an attacking mid for us with Enzo having another partner perhaps a CB trained to also become a DM or someone from the loanee group perhaps even Anjorin.

Back four with one of the WBs joining the attack.

Think Pulisic and Mudryk to be used in second half when spaces open up.

Broja and Pulisic to stay.

I don't think we will keep Felix or Zakaria and Havertz, Kova, Mendy, Gallager, Ziyech all likely to go.

Also defensively playing a high line.

Didn't want Lukaku back though think under Pochettino more likely to work.

If it was me I'd get rid of 14/15 players and do a hard reset. Should net us some funds for new signings.

100% Out:
Mendy
Kepa
Aubameyang
Lukaku
Ziyech
Pulisic
Koulibaly
Azpi
Havertz
Gallagher
RLC
CHO
Kova
Sterling

50/50
Mount
Felix

I really hope the rumours that Pochettino wants to keep Pulisic aren't true. He's been given too many chances already.

In Pochettino's first season at Spurs he did not have much money to spend, so players like Dier and Alli came through.

The only rumours I have read are about Mount, Onana player swap and Lukaku returning.

Hopefully the Pochettino situation is clarified this week.

Desperately want Mount to stay, also a bit intrigued to see what Gallagher could do under Pochettino and for some reason I havent completely given up on Havertz yet. Otherwise completely agree

I'm sure this level of detail will be in our scouting due diligence reports!

Get rid of

Koulibaly, kovacic, Azpi, Felix, Pulisic (depends on Pochettino), Ziyech, aubameyang, Mendy, hudson odoi, RLC, Chalobah, Lukaku (depends on Pochettino)

Either one of Havertz, Gallagher or Mount needs to go... Id prefer to lose conor over mount and havertz

Cucurella based on performances but need more time to judge

Only problem is nobody can afford sterling or koulibalies wages so they need a wage cut not sure we can get rid imo

Does anyone even actually rate Onana?

Sounded out my Milan friend and he said he's been very good for Inter and benched Handanovic.

Like Maignan but not quite as good were his words.
