I don't think we should pretend we know if he would or wouldn't be there. Although from his stats rgdn missed chances last season, there's a high chance he would be there and miss it as @nonotnowjim posted. Lol So far though he has improved this season in that regard. We will never know I guess. I like the rest of you was very surprised nkunku missed it. But mehhhh, sh*t happens. Onwards and upwards guys.
October 7, 20241 yr Seeing video titles pop up on YouTube about "Nicolas Jackson" and "slap" in the headline. So rather than watch the videos I figured I would just ask on here. What did you do @nonotnowjim?!?

Methinks Clearlake, Toddy, Bob, Eggie whoever runs us these days will shortky be making a substantial bid for Yoane Wissa based on that metric. May even bring back Havertz.

Sry bud....lol https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cg78ev92gnvo However, no action will be taken against Nicolas Jackson after the Chelsea forward appeared to slap, external Forest's Morato, as players from both sides clashed towards the end of the match, which ended 1-1. I mean - bias aside, how on earth can any player slap another, and not get charged? It is absolutely outrageous.

October 20, 20241 yr Brain dead twat gets another booking for "ungentlemanly conduct", and was anonomous for most of the game. Well taken goal - but he did nothing else positive.... He is a passenger, who makes us worse off.
October 20, 20241 yr A well taken goal today but besides that complete anonymous. Very frustrating and should have been subbed early second half.
October 20, 20241 yr The service to him in the second half was appalling though, our creativity dropped off a cliff.
October 20, 20241 yr He had zero service how many times did we play the ball in behind? The one time we did he scores!!
October 20, 20241 yr Although I do remember a ball played into him on the edge of their box which he laid back to Caicedo who was 5 yards away, yet it still nearly cleared his head.

This...I fealt the whole team gave Liverpool too much respect. He occupied 2 players and Palmer occupied 2 at times but the rest looked scared to go at them, especially in the first half. No speed or intensity from any of the players behind him to step into the space he made. Liverpool were also very quick in closing that space down. I think if palmer alternated between playing more centrally, closer to jackson and playing closer to noni, that would have brought on a lot more linking play and more chances for jacko and noni. Ah, the old lack of service excuse bring wheeled out! How about he creates something himself? Radical thought I know but I have seen other CFs manage it. Never bothered VVD or Konate in the slightest in the air and rarely engaged in any meaningful physical battles either. A lot of times he didn't even challenge. But he scored. Therefore he played well. The equivalent logic, Sanchez made some saves, therefore he played well. It's that simples.
